Jake's POV :

I was nervous. I got to go pick Gwen up from her house and bring her to the studio we found in her city to record in. I had offered to pick her up while we were cahtting, yesterday. I wanted to be nice and make sure she had one less thing to be nervous about. I already knew how to get to the studio from her house, because we were staying in a hotel right across the street from the place.

I pulled up in front of her house. I was excited to see her again. Excited and nervous. Was she this nervous? I walked up the her door, took a deep breath, and knocked. No answer. Okay. Not promising. I knocked again.

"Come in, it's unlocked!" I heard her muffled yell. I did as he said, and let myself in.

"Hello?" I didn't actually see her.

"I'm in here. Sorry."

I followed her voice into the next room. It had a full guitar stack, a few guitars, a keyboard and.. A bed? This was her bedroom. It was more music room than bedroom, though. Not that I would mind. Music is my life, you know.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know what to bring, so I just sort of threw everything together. I'm a little nervous. I've only ever recorded on my laptop..." She fluffed her hair nervously. I noticed the tips were purple. I don't think that was there yesterday.

"Nice hair." I smiled, trying not to stare. "You only really need to bring the guitar or guitars you want to play with. The studio will mix the sound. Today, we want to record the softer song you have. And then, tonight, we want you to meet some of the people we know who awnt to form a band with you."

She smiled and rushed to her guitars. She picked up a beat up green Ibanez RG series guitar and put it in a hard case that was covered with different band logo stickers.

"Here, let me grab that," I offered. She seemed hesatant. As a guitar player myself, I understood that. Guitars are precious. But she shook her head, smiled, and offered me the case. I carried it to the car, where I gently placed the case in the backseat. She had already hopped into the passenger's seat, and looked back, watching to make sure I didn't break her baby. I laughed at her concer. It was adorable. Then, I buckled the case in with the seatbelts in the back, just to go the extra mile. She thought it was funny. Good. :)

Gwen's POV :

My heart was racing. This was huge, for me. I was going to be recording a song I just wrote. A song that somehow drew in an entire band. A song that caused them to take the time to find me, put together a group of people for me to play with, and who knows what else! We had been driving for a few minutes, now, and I had just stared out the window nervously the whole time. This was crazy and came so fast... I was excited, of course. But my entire life was about to change, and I don't know if I deserve any of it.

"We're here." Jake stopped the car infront of a building I had never seen before. The sign read 'Studio 720.' It wasn't a huge building, but it was small by no means, either.

I followed Jake inside. He was still carrying my guitar. I don't think I've ever let anyone touch my guitars before, let alone carry them around. But I felt like I could trust him. Plus, he plays guitar. He must know how special a girl's guitar can be...

"Woah..." I whispered, under my breath. The place was awesome. The walls were painted a deep red, and all of the furnature was black. We were in the waiting room area. We didn't stop there, though. Jake led me down a hallway and into a sound control booth. There were so many buttons, levers, and sliders... I was so busy studying them, I almost didn't see the group of people in the room.

"Hey!" A very tall, very obiously Andy said, extending a hand my way. I grabbed and shook it. "I'm Andy. Nice to meet you." His voice was so strong and deep..
