Chapter 16 :

Gwen's POV :

A few weeks had passed since Jake carried me to the bus from the hospital. Things were hard at first. I couldn't put feeling back into my performances, and I didn't want to talk to anyone. But it was getting easier. Jake was letting me sleep with him in his bunk, whenever I wanted. I know he would do it without these awful circumstances, but it helped my dreams and I was so thankful to have his support...

I couldn't believe how quickly I was getting over what happened. Tomorrow, we would be playing a few hours away from Jake's hometown. But, today, Jake said he had a surprise for me. We were in the next town, already. But, our show wasn't until tomorrow. So, we had an entire day and a whole night until we had to get ready to perform.

I was so excited for whatever he had in store for me.

Jake's POV :

I made specials plans with Gwen for our free night. I couldn't wait to show her.

"Hey!" I caught her as she was walking past, pulling her in for a kiss. "Pack a bag, quick. We're not staying on the bus, tonight."

Her face lit up. It was either the idea of not sleeping on the bus for a night or spending the night alone, with me. But it didn't matter, either way. I was excited.

"I'm ready." Gwen skipped up behind me with a little bag over her shoulder. I took her hand and led her to one of the tour cars. We drove for a while, until we finally got to the hotel.

"Wooooow." she smirked. "Our very own room." Gwen lightly punched my arm.

"Of course. Only the best for you." I jumped out of the car, running around to open her door.

"Well, thank you." She smiled, following me in.

I handed my keys to the valet. We checked in and found our room.

"It's so nice!" She dropped her bag and fell into the bed. "A whole bed." She smiled at me. "Come here, honey." Her smile turned from sweet to devious.

I had on arguments, so I climbed next to her. She pulled me in for a kiss. It quickly picked up heat, and I rolled her on top of me. She grabbed my collar, deepening her kisses. I sat us up, pulling her shirt off, over her head. She had a lacy, see through bra on, underneath. We'd never gotten this far. Her nipples were pierced. I smiled. "Gotta keep up." She breathed, following with removing my shirt. Her skin brushing against mine sent electricity down my spine. She traced my chest with her finger. I felt her, all of her, with my hands. I explored her body. We rolled, so I was on top. I kissed my way down her chest, to her pant line. Looking up at her, I slowly dragged them down her legs. Following suit to before, I whipped my own accross the room. Her bottoms matched the top. She was so much more prepared than I was. At least I brought something.

Being with her felt so good... It felt right. I couldn't think about anything else. We were all that existed. The curves of her body against mine were magic. Every collision was pure excatic bliss. When it was over, we just laid there, breathing. She was wrapped in my arm while my free hand played with her hair. She fiddled with my necklace.

"I love you..." She whispered.

"I love you, too." I kissed her forehead. We'd been in the hotel room for quite some time, and it wasn't long at all before she fell asleep there, in my arms. It was the perfect day. I knew tomorrow would be long. I didn't move one time, that night, for fear of waking her. She was so peaceful... No nightmares, I smiled to myself. I closed my eyes, and, before I knew it, it was morning.

"Mm. Good morning, handsome." Gwen stretched, pulling me in closer.

"Good morning, Angel." I leaned down towards her face, meeting her lips for a passionate kiss. I don't think I would ever get sick of kissing her. It was still perfect, morning breath and all. "Shit." I looked at the time. We had slept for most of the day. "We've got two hours to get ready and be at sound check.."
