Chapter 10

After a lot of 'are we there yet?' and 'where are we going?', we got to our destination. The guys looked confused to why are we here but didn't say anything, I kept walking to the door of the orphanage.

"Melody why are we here?" Jax said

"We're not going to adopt a child, are we?" I rolled my eyes at Zach.

"No we're not, you'll figure it out on your own when we get inside" I said although I noticed that Corbyn was silent since we got here.

I knocked on the door then entered.

"You can't just walk in there Melody" Zach said but I ignored him.

Once inside I saw Lillian (the owner of the orphanage if you don't remember).

"Melody, it's good to see you again dear, the kids and I missed you so much" She said as she gave me a hug.

"I've missed you guys so much, where are the little monsters?"

"Little monsters? Uh, Melody?" I heard Jax saying.

"Oh! You brought friends with you too!" Lillian said excited

"Yes guys, this is Lillian the owner of the orphanage, Lillian that's Corbyn, Zax and Jax short for Jaxon"

"How lovely to see you finally made friends dear, plus they're boys and handsome" She whispered the last part so only I could hear but apparently Corbyn heard and smirked at me. I fake glared at her and rolled my eyes at Corbyn, she love teasing me I swear it's like her job or something.

"Hey Lillian" The three said at the same tike.

"Okay then... We will go see the little monsters" I said "Come on guys" We make our way upstairs, then I walked to a little speaker we placed on the wall, in each room there's one so we could all talk at night.

It was one of the beautiful memories I have here.

I pressed the button so my voice could be heard in every room.

"Yo guys, have you missed me?" Not even five seconds later, everyone came out of the rooms and tackled me in a hug.

"Melody!"
"We missed you so much"
"Yeah! The orphanage is not the same without you here!"
"We miss our movie nights"

That's another beautiful memorie I have here, at night when Lillian gave us permission to stay up late we would have a movie night, we would all gather around in the living room, some of them on the couch, others on the floor with blankets, we would bring our sleeping bags downstairs and have a sleepover, there wasn't too many kids like most of the orphanage we were different.

"I missed you guys so much, you don't even know how much I've missed you guys!"

"Can somebody at least explain to me what's going on?" I swear sometimes I'd like punching Zach

"Welcome to my home guys" I said turning to them.

"What? Home? But this is an orphanage" Zach once again said, I got closer to him and told him in a low voice

"Where did you think I lived after my parents died, in the forest? Anyway I'll explain everything to you later" I said to him "in the meantime let's have some fun!" I said fist pumping the air. A series of "yeah!" and "woohoo" came from all of them, then we started our day.

All day we played hide N seek, watched movies, made food for all of the kids here, the guys were laughing and playing around especially Zach, guess they became friends with those little monsters fast.
