Chapter 15

*Melody P.O.V*

I woke up the next day on the floor, my body felt like it took a hit from a truck, then I started coughing. 

great, I took a cold, fucking great.

Me thinking about my safety first, I decided to stay at home, so I didn't bother getting up from my beautiful bed. Suddenly I remembered I had a project I need to give today, so I quickly got up and went to find Corbyn, I need him to give it to my teacher, I sure as hell won't risk getting a zero and fail this semester. 

I found Corbyn in the kitchen eating, I quickly went up to him, which led to hurting my head even more. 

"Corbyn, please I need you to do me a favor" 

"Good morning to you too" he said humor in his eyes.

Wait what happened to the other Corbyn? Well I prefer this one.

"Wow, wow, wow, what happened to the other Corbyn?" yeah I like to say what's what on my mind. 

"well he realized he was being mean to you and that he was hurting you, so he decided to be more caring and well open up to you" he said with a small smile. I was surprised about what he just said, he said he's going to open up to me, well that's a good start.

"Finally, I thought I'd have to deal with the mean one for longer" I said dramatically and he laughed

"what did you want from me?"

"yes! I need you to give my project to Ms. Walker"

"aren't you attending your classes today?"

"No, I'm sick  and my body feels numb so imma stay here"

"oh okay, well I hope you feel better, I'll make sure to give these to your teacher" 

"okay thank you, I'll go back to sleep now" I said smiling at him

I won't lie, I felt disappointed that he didn't suggest staying here with me or taking care of me, but what can I do?

As I went to bed, I made my self comfortable then went into a deep sleep.

I was woken up by a delicious smell but then again there was no one in the dorm, I walked out of my room and I could  sense that my body would give up on me soon, so I put my weight on the wall.

The next thing I saw was Corbyn coming out of the kitchen.

what is he doing here? Wasn't he supposed to be in class?

"Corbyn what are you doing here?" I said in a low voice since I was too tired to speak.

"You didn't think I would leave you alone in this state, did you? " he said approaching me so he can help me sit on the couch.

"Thank you" I said as I sat down "what about the project? "

"I gave it to your teacher then went to the store so I can get some ingredients to make soup, and I also stopped at the pharmacy to get you medicine" I smiled at him then gave him a hug.

"Thank you so much Cor, but you shouldn't have done all that really"

"I would do anything for you" he said looking at me deeply in the eye. 

Did he really just say that? Why am I feeling like there is a fucking zoo inside of me, I don't know why every time i'm near this handsome guy I feel like this, it's actually a new feeling for me, I never felt like this for him, but I shouldn't compare between Corbyn and that monster, I know I have my ups and downs with him but every time I get this amazing feeling when i'm with him.

Am I starting to like him? I surely don't know but maybe there's a slight chance I might love someone and someone might love me back, one can dream right?

"What is it? Why are you staring at me like that? " he said with an amused voice while raising an eyebrow at me.

"Huh? Oh nothing I just um... Well I zoned out that's all" I replied but i'm sure as hell I looked like a freaking tomato.

"Uh-huh, and what were you thinking about? " he said as his face was only inches away from mine, which didn't help my situation at all.

"Um... Uh... I-i was thinking about... How sick I am" really Melody? That's all you could come up with?

"Mhm sure, I believe you" I couldn't take the heat anymore.

"Can't you feel it's getting hot in here?" UGH, I really should stop talking.

"Yeah it's because i'm here"

"Yeah... Wait what? " I said then he started laughing really hard and I couldn't be more embarrassed in my entire life.

"Stop it, it's not funny, you're mean" I said in a child voice while covering my face. Then I felt his hands on mine and I felt electricity shot threw my body, he took my hands away from my face and place it in his.

"You're cute when you're blushing" he said with a smile on his face.

"Stop saying that, i'm becoming a fucking tomato"

"Melody I need to tell you something it has been on my mind lately"

"Okay... I'm listening" I won't lie my heart was beating so fast I could hear it.

"Well... I-um I like you, no I actually really really like you, it's the first time I ever felt this way I couldn't wait anymore to say this, but i'm falling hard for you" he said scratching the back of his head.

OH MY GOD, was I hearing right? He likes me? I think i'm going to faint. BYE WORLD.
But what should I say? Ugh, this you stupid brain.

"I actually really like you Corbyn, even if we have our ups and downs I can't help but get this amazing feelings inside of me, it's the first time I felt like this but what i'm sure about is that I like you and I'm falling for you too" I said while looking at the ground, he was silent but when I looked up to see his reaction.

I was met with a pair of lips then I was lost in a world were there was no one but the two of us...
