Chapter 25

*Corbyn P.O.V*

After I got back to the Orphanage, Lillian told me that they left without me, to be honest I felt horrible for saying those words to Melody, I don't know why I reacted like this, it's not like I know who that guy is or what he did to her, and that's the problem I wanted her to tell me about her past, I wanted her to feel like she can tell me anything but now I ruined it all, I won't know a single thing about her, I don't even know if she'll talk to me again. But what I do know is that I have to fix this.

When I got back to the dorm after spending the night in a hotel, I saw Melody coming out of her room, she mare me food then she hot out. After that i went ti the boys dorm.

"Guys i need help understanding what the hell is going on? " I said as I flopped down on the couch, they were playing Fortnite.

"Maybe first you should know what the hell is happening to you" Jaxon said not looking at me.

"I fucking know what I said to Melody was wrong, it was just the anger talking"

"Aha then fucking control your anger, you can't just go around hurting people because you're 'angry' " Zach said calmly

"I didn't mean to hurt her"

"Oh yeah, well you did and she's already broken from the inside, she thought she could finally find someone who she can trust, but I guess she thought wrong, she was going to tell you but you're just a fucking stupid asshole, that don't think before acting" jaxon said raising his voice, I knew he was right.

"What should I do now? I can't let her slip away that easily I love her, I need to do something"

"Call her" zaid said simply

"What? "

"You heard me? "

"And what should I tell her? "

"Tell her all your emotions every single thing, tell her what you told us right now, apologize" Jaxon said

"You're right, i'll call her, wish me luck"

"Good luck bud now go"

I went back to my dorm and debated on wither I should call her or not.

"Man up Corbyn, she's worth it"
So I did it, I called her

"And she just hung up on me, waw, okay try again" i said to myself so i kept ringing until she finally picked up

"What the fuck do you want? " she said angrily

"Melody? "

"What do you want Corbyn? "

"I just wanted to talk to you about what happened... "

"Now you wanna talk? After all you said to me? You didn't even hear my side of the story and you said hurtful things to me, I fucking hate my life, I wish it would end already" she said calmly, almost whispering.

"No don't say that I really didn't mean t-" i started but suddenly I heard a loud car horn and a thud

"Melody? Melody are you still there? Mel please answer me, fucking answer me, i'm on my way" I quickly hung up and tracked her location. I called jaxon

"Jaxon come here as soon as possible, bring Zach with you something happened to Melody"

"What? We're on our way, where is she? "

"I'll send you her location" I quickly send him the location

"Okay we're coming" then he hung up. When I reached my destination there was a crowd circling someone, I quickly shoved people out of my way. When I saw her body laying on the ground blood circling her, I ran toward her and flopped beside her.
