"Son I want to know the cause. Now! "
"Father I don't have any cause for this, but there's also my studies that I need to finish so I don't have time for the company anymore" it has been a week since we got back from the orphanage and here I am. The truth was I can handle both just fine, but with Melody in my life now, I just couldn't handle work she has been on my mind every second which is bad for the company.
"Then you can say goodbye to your studies, either you can handle both the company and your studies, or you quit university" I heard my father say. That made my blood boil.
"NO! I will not quit my studies, it's my choice, as for the company I will try my best to make it stay on top"
"Good that's what I wanna hear"
"I will go now, goodbye father" I was going to leave but then his next words stopped me.
"before you leave son, I wanted to tell you that you will be leaving for Tokyo after 2 months as for your studies you'll continue there" like I was electrified I snapped my head toward him and my blood boiled with anger.
"what do you mean 'I'm going to Tokyo in 2 months' no I can't, I have friends here, I can't just leave them here"
"son, you are not thinking business like, you're letting your heart talk and we do not what that if you're going to take over the business in 3 years you're going to let your mind talk, I do not want to collaborate with this kind of attitude again , am I clear?" I stood there glaring at him not responding to his question.
"I said AM I CLEAR?"
"yes father" I said just above a whisper
"good now you may go" I didn't waste a sec as I stormed out of the room.
why is he always like this? it's my personal life, he doesn't get to tell me what should I do, I know when to let my heart speak and when to let my mind speak, but.. I guess I'm too much of a coward to actually stand up for myself...

As I made my way to my apartment, I opened the door and was greeted by the smell of cooking, I saw Melody in the kitchen. When I closed the door, she turned and gave me a smile, one that I didn't return.
"Cor, I made meatballs and soup, it will be ready soon" I really wanted eat her food but I wasn't in the mood if you get what I mean.
"I'm going out tonight" I simply said
"Oh, with who? " I looked at her with a cold glare.
"None of your business" I saw her frown deeply at my words but I shrugged it.
I started walking to my room when her voice stopped me
"Cor, you can tell me what is it?" she said her voice soft
I couldn't tell her that I had a company and that I was leaving in 2 months, I couldn't tell her I was rich in the first place, I don't want what happened in the past to repeat again, I like melody and I want her to like me not because of my money but because of who I am, but now I guess I can't let her have feeling for me that would be too cruel of me, I can't be with her and then leave her suddenly, no I'm not cruel
but what will I tell her now..
"nothing forget it, I can't tell you but maybe someday you'll find out on your own" I took one last glance at her then made my way over to my room to change.

*Melody P.O.V*
I didn't get what Corbyn said but I knew it had a double meaning to this, after he left for wherever he's going, I made my way to the boys dorm in my SpongeBob PJ since they were on the same floor as us.
I opened their door since I took Zach's card and made my way to their living room, they were both laying on a couch so I just laid on the sofa bed they had in their living room, no one said a word but after some time Jax turned to look at me.
"so tell us what brings our favorite people in the world here?"
"I'm just bored" I muffled a reply
"where is corbyn?" Zach asked
"out"
"out where?"
"he didn't tell me, but he came to the dorm mad and it was the first time I saw him this mad, he didn't tell me though why he was mad, I tried to convince him to tell me what is it, but all he said was 'I can't tell you maybe you'll discover it on your own' but I didn't get what he meant" I saw both of them share a glance so I got suspicious.
"guys" I said slowly to them and they both looked at me like they have been caught "do you, like maybe happen to know what corbyn is hiding from me?"
"No" they both said at the same time which made me suspicious even more.
"are you sure you don't know anything?" I looked at both of them directly in the eye
"Look Mel, we actually know something but it's really not our place to tell you, if you want to know you should ask him, it's up to him, it's not that we don't trust you, it's just not our business, do you get what I'm trying to say?" Jax said and Zach nodded.
I looked at both of them then sigh "ugh fine, I will ask him tomorrow after he's in a better mood"
"okay now let's get back to our movie" Zach said " by the way nice PJ" I looked at him and saw he was also wearing sponge bob PJ
"AWWW, we're twinning" we both laughed then we saw Jax looking at us like we're crazy which made us laugh even more.
