Chapter 27: So Much Weird

Heidi's POV

I am awoken by the sound of someone knocking on my door, I drag myself out of bed and open the door to reveal Paul, he is wearing a green hat with a red feather design backwards, light green shirt, a pair of green shorts that come to the start of his knees, and a pair of brown sneakers with white laces "Paul, what are you doing here?" I ask him with a groggy voice, "I was going to ask you if you wanted to walk to class?" I could tell Paul is nervous, "Yeah, sure." Paul smiles and shows off his prefect white teeth, "Just let me get ready and we can leave." Paul nods his head and I close the door and get dressed. Once I am dressed I walk into to the hallway to see Paul hasn't moved from the spot that I left him, "You look dazzling as always." I could feel myself blush a little, "Thank you." I look at Paul and notice something new for the first time, "Nice facial hair you got there Paul." He runs his over the facial hair and lets out a chuckle, "It has been a long time coming." As Paul and I are walking down the halls I see Gordon, the son of Grumpy, Bashful JR, the son of Bashful hanging a sign over the lunch room, while Sleepy JR, the son of Sleepy is fast asleep. "Hey guys." I say as Paul and I walk up to the three of them, "Unless you want to help us, I suggest you beat it." Gordon snaps in a grumbled voice, "Please forgive him, he doesn't think that this is fun." Bashful JR cheeks turn red as his eyes land on me, "It's okay, I don't hold it against him, giving who his father is." Gordon shots me a death glare, "So, what is this sign for anyways?" Paul asks making me remember that he was next to me, "This is just one of the posters for the dance." I feel sick hearing about the dance, I was so happy that Harry and I were going together, but now I don't see that happening. "Yeah, we get to spend the whole day, putting up these posters that people will just tear down in the end." Gordon griped, "You can't see the bright side of anything can you Gordon?" Bashful JR remarks back, "Well I don't the other 5 helping out." Sleepy JR yawns and lifts his head, "Hi Heid, Hi Paul." We both wave at him, "Sleepy JR, can you please stay awake, we need help hanging these posters." Bashful JR nicely asks. "I am awake now, I promise." I could already tell that he was going to fall back to sleep, "Well it was nice talking to the three of you, but Paul and I need to get going." Paul and I made our way out to the court yard. I look over to see my brother lifting weights next to Ella, "I am going to go see my brother." Paul nods his head, "Okay, I will see you later then." Just as Paul is almost out of sight I hear his voice again, "By the way, I hope you liked your present." I suddenly remembered the mask I received yesterday, could it be Paul that is my secret admirer. I make my way over to Ella and my brother, "See the way my bicep bulges?" Ella doesn't even look up from the textbook her nose is bury in. "Very impressive." I sit down on my brothers lap, "Hello dear brother of mine." I wrap my arms around his neck and plant a huge kiss on his cheek, "Doing a morning workout brother?" Hadie rolls his eyes and keeps lifting his weights, "What do you want little sister?" I can already hear the aggravation in his voice, "I just wanted to spend a little time with my brother." I give him my best pouty face, Hadie grunts dropping the weights on the ground. "You have my attention." Hadie wipes the sweat from his forehead, "I want us to hang out tonight." Hadie eyes went a little bigger than normal, "Tonight? I can't tonight. Sorry Sis." He sounds like he is trying to cover something up, "Why not?" I ask him, Hadie bits his lower lip for a second, "I have plans with the group tonight." This catches my interstate, "What kind of plans?" My brother's eyes narrow, "Heidi, stop fishing for information." I huff at him, "You just don't like spending time with me." I cross my arms over my chest, "A true as that statement is, how about I make you an offer" I give him a 'I'm listing' look, "Instead of us just hanging out tonight, how about after your classes, you and I spend the rest of the day together?" I look at my brother with complete surprise, "What's the catch?" I ask not trusting his word, "No catch, I just want to spend as much time as I can with my little sister before negotiations are settled and I have to go back to the Isle." Ella suddenly speaks up, 'Well, I should get going before I am late for class." Ella gathers her books and walks off. Just as she leaves my brother let's out a long sigh, "Squirt?" I turn my head to face my brother, "Yes?" Hadie picks me up and places me in the seat next to him, "I need your advice on something that I never thought I would have to ask you." That got me worried, I mean he could ask me about something that I am not familiar with, but my brother doesn't ask for my help very often, so I try to help with him when he needs it, "Okay, I am all ears." Hadie inhales profoundly, "How can I get Ella to notice me?" I sit there shocked not sure what to say, but I must say that there has been so much weird In just this one morning.
