Chapter 35: Plan of Attack

Heidi's POV

"First, we need to bring back up, I don't think all of us are a match for Quinn and her friends." Ben pulls another piece of paper, "Especially now that they have advances." Jay says as the rest of us nod our heads in agreement. "So that means we need to bring some people with their own special advances." I smile at Ben who returns the smile, "I just don't want anyone getting hurt." Jay looks at Ben with an eyebrow raised, "Ben this is a battle, some people might get hurt." I look at the floor thinking again about Harry. "What are we going to do with them after we defect them?" Jane questions looking around at all of us, "We send them back to the Isle where they can do no harm." Ben says in his kingly voice, I could tell that not everyone is happy with that but it is the only way. "After all they have done, you are just going to send them back." Jay is seething, "Ben, they could just go back and try again some other time." Carlos says in a calm voice, "Look, this is not up for discussion." I can tell that Ben is starting to get aggravated, I sigh and place my hand on Ben's shoulder trying to calm him down a little before he explodes and goes all beast on everyone in the room, "Cory, please go and inform Fairy Godmother of the events that have taken place, and tell her that as King I will be taking immediate action." Cory bows to Ben before leaving the room. "You know that if we show up with a large group of people, Quinn might go on the defensive." Freddie says as Ben nods his head, "I already thought of that." Ben is cut off by the sound of the door opening, in walks Evie and a girl that I am guessing is Rebekah, "Ben we have a major problem." Evie says standing in front of the desk, "What is it?" Evie sighs and steps to the side as the girl steps up in front of the desk, "The pocket watch that Quinn stole, it is way more than just a pocket watch." That catches all our attention, "What is so special about it?" Ben asks, "The pocket watch belonged to my father, it was his way of traveling to and from Wonderland." I am starting to understand why Quinn might have been interested in that item now, "If Quinn finds a way to use it, she can just disappear to Wonderland?" Ben asks trying to understand what is being said, "Yes, she could travel to Wonderland and pick up right where her mother left off." The girl says with a sigh, "But if the watch gets her there, then why does she need the trident?" I ask looking at the girl, "My guess is that Quinn wants to break the barrier, but just in case you try to go after her, she has somewhere to hide out for the rest of her life." I shake my head as I think of my day inside the tree that kingdom council meeting is held in, "But even if that is her plan, Wonderland is part of the 18 kingdoms, we would find her anyways." I explain, but Rebekah shakes her head back at me, "Not if Quinn declares herself Queen and dissociates herself for the council and the kingdom from Auradon entirely." She had on that one, "So she breaks the barrier, and flees to the Wonderland where no one can touch her?" Carlos sums up the basics of the conversation. "Yep, and leaves the other four to deal with the aftermath." I count in head all the members of the group, "Four, I think you mean five?" Rebekah turns her attention back to me, "I mean four, Quinn won't Chelsea behind, us Wonderland folks look after one another." The door suddenly opens again and this time Yzla walks in, "Any news?" Ben asks in a tried but hopeful tone, "It would seem my felines have been very busy." Yzla takes Rebekah place in front as Rebekah stands next to Evie, "The shack that they want us to meet at is not a shack at all." Ben looks at her confused, "If's it not a shack, then what it is?" Yzla smiles an evil smile, "It turns out that the inside of the shack is just elevator, it goes down far below the ocean." We all are silent not sure what to think, "It is a massive underwater fortress, that is where Quinn has been hiding, and that is where you will find her group along with Ally and Mal." I was really confused about this information, "How did a giant fortress just happen to appear underwater?" Ben sighs, "It has been abandoned since the end of the first war." Ben must know of the place Yzla is talking about, "What was it used for?" Evie asks looking up at Ben, "It was used for protection against the villains, your parents." Us villain kids look away from him, "Are you sure that it is the same place?" Yzla waves the question off, "My felines never lie, I am as sure as the isle not having WIFI, you find a way into that fortress, you will find Ally and Mal." Ben smiles at Yzla, "Thank you Yzla, it means a lot to have you and your friends helping us." Yzla bows to Ben, "Anything for my King." Yzla walks out closing the door behind her. "So, we know where they are, but how do we get inside?" Jay asks, "We dived and conquer." Ben pulls out a map of Auradon, "Growing up my parents told me all of the hidden passage ways and other hidden things around the kingdom, and I know for a fact that there is a secret entrance to that very fortress, it is a hidden cave under the Enchanted lake, the magic waters of the lake come from that very fortress." Ben was very impressive of his knowledge. "A few of us will travel to the cave, why the other half travels to the meeting place." We nod our heads, "The half of us that are at the cave will find the passage way and sneak inside the fortress, the rest of us will make the exchange and act like nothing else is going on." I am worried about what might happen if I have to face my brother or even worse Harry, "We will all meet up in front of the school tonight and I will explain further then." Everyone agrees and walks out, right as I take one step outside the door I hear Ben's voice, "Heidi, wait I would like to talk to you in privet please." I let out a long sigh as I put my foot back into the door and close the door.
