Chapter 38: Everything is Relived

Heidi's POV

"So, this is how you treat your guests?" Ben says standing up and brushing himself off, "That is very un-royal like." Quinn let out laugh, "Your sweet words won't get you out of this one I am afraid." Winter says as green smoke appears on the left side of the throne. My eyes fall on Harry who is not paying attention to anything but his hook, and that lets me know that Harry is avoiding me. "Your plan will never work." Evie says taking a step forward so she is at Ben's side, "And why is that, Princess of no one cares?" Winter laughs and I can see Evie didn't take to kindly to the comment, "Because we didn't bring the trident, so you can't break the barrier." Quinn's laughter echoes through the whole room, "You really believe that is important part of my plan? Give me more credit than that, the trident is the least of my worries." We all look up at Quinn confused, "So you are upset that the trident isn't here?" I hear Carlos ask from behind me, "I can retrieve the trident whenever I feel like it, no you see all I needed from you all was the girl in white." Quinn points to the person in the middle of all of us, "What are you talking about?" Ben places Rebekah farther behind him, "It all started with the tales that my mother use to tell me about how Alice invade her kingdom and ruined everything with the help of certain people, as I grew up the feeling of wanting to right the wrong that was done to my mother became like an obsession of mine, the more detail I studied about the tale the more information I found about how Alice got to Wonderland, then one day I figured it out, Alice only found her way to Wonderland because she fell down a rabbit hole, and how did a nonmagical rabbit get from the place to place, it was because of the pocket watch that always seemed to be with him at all times." Quinn explained as the rest of us listened, "So once word got out that Maleficent had failed then Uma as well I started thinking about what each plan had in common." I interrupted Quinn, "The Fairy Godmother's wand." Quinn smiles and nods her head, "That is right, I was sick and bored of everyone trying to get their hands on some old lady's wand, I wanted to do something no one would ever think of so I formed what I would call a master plan, one without a single flaw." Quinn was a lot smarter than I had thought, she has had all this planned for a long time, "I sent you a letter saying that I wanted to talk about peace with the Isle knowing full well that you would take the bait, I waited and waited to hear your response." I see out of the corner of my eye Ben's hand clench into fists. "And just like I thought, you took the bait and invited me and my friends to come to Auradon." I hear Evie sigh in front of me, "Once we arrived to Auradon I quickly got the feeling that we weren't welcome and I knew that thanks to Yzla's spies that you would know everything you needed to know about all of us even before we set foot in Auradon." This caught us all by surprise, "So you knew about Yzla's spies?" Jay asks. Quinn let's out yet another spin chilling laugh, "Of course I did, you think I didn't notice all her spies watching our every move?" Quinn waves her hand in front of her face, "So once everyone was doing their own thing, I choose to finally start putting my plan into action, granted I will admit that it wasn't easy getting past everyone but I knew what I was doing, so I sent Hadie and Chelsea to the museum, and just like I knew they would they returned with this." Quinn hold up what I am guessing is the pocket watch, "But like every plan there had to be a hiccup here and there, like for example the fact that only one person can make this rusty piece of metal actually do something except for sit in a building and collect dust." I took offence to that, I make sure that everything in that museum it spotless, "Quinn, are going to tell us why you wanted the watch?" Carlos asks sounding bored out of his mind, "The reason I want this item is because it will take me home, and once I am home I will be take my rightful place a Queen of Wonderland and rule just like my mother did before me, with cruelty and fear." I felt bad for the people of Wonderland if that happens, "So why did you ask for the trident?" I ask trying to still figure all this out. "I asked for the trident because I need something to break the barrier and if I asked for the Fairy Godmother's wand it would have been all too easy for you all to see what I was up too." Not as easy as she thinks it is, "And all of that has lead us here, now please Rebekah if you would come up and help me." I put my hand in front of Rebekah, "Wait a second, what about Ally and Mal?" I Quinn rolls her eyes as she lets out an annoying breath of air, "I thought that Ally was the one that could make the watch work, but after she told me she couldn't I went to plan B and used her as bait to get you all here." Quinn snaps her fingers and Winter waves her hand. Suddenly a cloud of light blue smoke appears in front of Ben and Evie, out of the light blue smoke I see Ally. I push past Ben and Evie and check on her to make sure that she is alright. "What Mal?" I hear Evie ask, Ben looks like someone just ripped his heart out and stuck a knife in it as his eyes notice Mal standing next to Quinn, "Mal? How could you do this to me, to our friends?" Ben took a step forward but Mal and Winter both raised their hands and a black and red barrier appeared rotating around the staircase and the throne. "Sorry for the barrier, but you just don't know who you can trust these days, know what I mean?" Quinn was taunting Ben and I, "Mal is here because she is one of the most powerful allies that you have, and now she's on our side, funny how two people that you thought you could trust, turned their backs on you and joined the winning side." Quinn nods her head to Mal, Mal snaps her fingers and just like that Rebekah is in front of Quinn. "Mal, we are your friends, there is noting that you can't tell us." Evie was the one to plead with Mal. I notice Quinn's necklace start to glow a little, and just like that I understand why Mal is doing all of this and why Quinn is so confident that she will win, "Mal is under the control of Quinn's heart necklace." I whisper to Ben, "So that is why Mal switched sides, you are forcing her to do your dirty work, just like you have been doing to everyone in your group." Ben called out Quinn, "I have had enough of you! Get them!" Quinn shouts. Chelsea, Gaston Jr, Hadie, Harry, and Winter all starts walking in different ways. "Go!" Ben yells as we all pair off with a member of 'The Order.'
