Bowling

It was a Saturday night and everyone was to go bowling, thanks to Ibuki saying it was absolutely "mandatory" to go. Of course if someone didn't go, everyone knew that musician would break into their house and drag them to the bowling alley. It was just better to go and hope this was painless. You sat in one of the chairs next to Chiaki, her eyes focused on her game as she was completely engrossed in it. You heard Mikan yelp as she tripped, again, over a bowling ball and somehow she landed in a quite explicit position, as usual. Teruteru of course was sent flying across the room with his nosebleed working as a rocket to launch him, because it's him. You sweatdropped at the scene before your E/C eyes landed on a new person arriving. It was Gundham and oh boy did you have it bad for Hamster Boy. You felt your face heat up as you quickly looked away down at your lap, your heart pounding nervously.

As Gundham walked by, you glanced up at him through your lashes and noticed he was also staring at you. He quickly looked away once he realized you had caught him, his pale face dusted with red. Why was he blushing? He cleared his throat and continued to walk over to where Hajime, Kazuichi and Sonia were near one of the lanes. You sighed in relief as you looked down yet again still feeling the nerves within you from seeing him. "You know, you should go talk to him." The gamer suddenly said, still engrossed in her game. You blinked and quickly looked over to her. "W-What? We do talk!" She mashed her thumbs on the bottoms as she continued. "Yeah, I've seen you guys talk before, he always turns red when you do." You swallowed hard, your H/L H/C hair fell slightly in your face as you looked away. "You like him don't you? I think he likes you too."

Chiaki was always the quiet one, but she was great at low key observing people. It's impressive really. "Uhm...I don't think so." She tilted her head slightly, eyes still on the small screen in front of her. "I don't know, you'd be surprised." You blinked. What did she mean by that? "Yo Y/N, Ibuki demands you go next!" You jumped slightly at the sudden loud voice in your ear by the musician as your name blinked on the screen above you indicating it was indeed your turn. 'Great...' You thought as you stood up. 'Time to embarrass myself in front of Gundham, and well, everyone else...'  You weren't the best at bowling, but you agreed to go for some damn reason.

As you walked up to grab a bowling ball, you swallowed nervously. "Go Y/N!" Akane shouted as she shoved a burger in her mouth. "YOU GOT THIS, YOU'RE THE SHIT! HAHAHAAHAH!" Nekomaru yelled loudly causing Hajime, who was next to him, to jump by the sudden shouting almost having a heart attack. You chuckled nervously and walked forward, swinging your arm back and then forward letting it go. Your friends were cheering you on behind you, but you sweatdropped as you only knocked down two pillars. "Shit..." You mumbled as you heard Hiyoko laughing at you, naturally. "Hahaha! Pigshit sucks! She's totally embarrassing herself in front of the dude she likes."

You froze, your E/C eyes widening. 'No....she doesn't know, does she? How?!' Mahiru turned to Hiyoko glaring putting her hands on her hips. "Hiyoko, stop!" Your heart was pounding. Instinctively your eyes wondered over to Gundham who was staring at you with mixed emotions. "Why!? It's hilarious! Mahiru, take a picture!" Mikan poked her fingers together nervously as she looked at the blonde. "H-Hiyoko, t-t-that's no-not nice!" Said blonde turned to the nurse and blew a raspberry. "Shut up whore! It's no secret that she likes the Hamster Boy." It was silent. Chiaki actually paused her game and looked at Hiyoko with anger as you stood there shaking slightly. 'Oh God... How did she? Why did she?....'

Gundham stood there with wide eyes, his face a rosy red as he stared at you. You panicked. You wanted to cry. You also wanted to punt that little shit Hiyoko like a football. However, nerves getting the best of you, you spun around and ran, right out of the front doors and out into the cool night air. "Damn, that wasn't cool!" Kazuichi suddenly said as Sonia nodded with a frown. "That was very mean of you Hiyoko!" The short blonde rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms. "What? It's not like it wasn't obvious! Right hamster boy?"

Gundham was red in the face, but he had to admit he was, happy? Happy to hear that you liked him, because he has liked you for quite sometime as well. Mahiru sighed shaking her head. "Should someone go check on her?" Chiaki frowned but looked at the Breeder. "Gundham, I think you should go and talk to her." Said Breeder's face turned ever more red, if possible as he stuttered, only to have his Deva's poke their little heads out and nod agreeing with the gamer girl. Hajime also nodded at this. "I think you're the best comfort for her right now." Kazuichi also nodded. "You like her dude, don't you?" Gundham, poor guy could faint from how nervous and embarrassed he was, covered his whole face with his scarf and nodded. "HAHAH I knew it! The weirdos like each other!" Hiyoko laughed and pointed, but Akane suddenly burst her bubble and spin kicked the small girl sending her flying across the bowling alley like an aardvark. "THAT'S FOR BEING A JERK TO OUR FRIENDS!" Nekomaru, along with everyone else (minus a beat red Gundham) sweatdropped, well Fuyuhiko was laughing. Finally the Breeder mumbled under his breath through his scarf as he began to walk to the entrance.

"You can do this Gundham! Y/N will he hella' happy!" Sonia shouted with a determined smirk as Kazuichi chuckled lightly at her wording. You were mortified sitting on the curb of the parking lot with your face in your knees. "That fucking little twat waffle..." You muttered as you shook from multiple emotions you were feeling. Hiyoko could have very well ruined your friendship with Gundham. As he approached you, you stiffened hearing soft foot steps before a figure slowly, hesitantly, sat next to you on the concrete ledge. The person cleared their throat, a deep voice and you knew instantly who that was. 'Oh God....Here comes the rejection...'  You could feel a whole new wave of tears beginning to form in your still E/C glassy eyes.

A gentle hand was placed on the back of your head and you stiffened. 'He's...touching me? Oh fuck, this rejection is really going to hurt..'  "Please, do not cry Y/N." His voice was so gentle and you just wanted to cry more knowing he won't be yours. "Gundham, I know what you came out here to say, I get it.....You can go back inside, I'm sorry I made everything awkward." You whispered trying your hardest not to cry more.

It was silent for a few seconds before he spoke more. "What is it you predict I will say?" He questioned and you didn't even want the words to leave your mouth. Your lips were quivering. "I know you don't like me....It's okay." Your voice was shaking like the leaves in the light wind in front of your shoes and the few more seconds of silence felt like hours to you. "Y/N, Goddess, I have not come out here to reject you, I...." He swallowed hard, nervously. 'Goddess?...Why the Hell did he call me that?'  You heard little squeaks which you knew came from the Deva's before he spoke again. "I....I like you." His voice was rushed and quiet, but you swore you heard him say he likes you. Did he? No, he couldn't have actually said. You slowly raised your head up, your watery eyes and tear stained face looking at his red one. "W-what?" You stuttered and he swallowed hard again pushing his scarf up to his nose as he looked away. "I like you Goddess Y/N." You heard him that time. You were shocked as fuck. The Great Gundham Tanaka liked you? HOLY TITS ON A THURSDAY.

"R-Really?" You just couldn't talk without stuttering, you were so surprised, nervous, happy, everything. He nodded. "I-Is this alright?" You nodded. "Y-Yes, of course." Your voice cracked and you internally cringed. 'Great, that's it.. sound like a pubescent idiot.'  You inhaled a deep breath through your nose to calm your nerves before he asked. "Will you....will you be my Goddess? My Queen?" His eyes landed on yours then quickly looked away, the scarf still up to his nose on his red face. Your eyes widened but you nodded. "Yes...Yes!" The Deva's squeaked in happiness as you flung your arms around him before even thinking.

He was literally going to explode if he turned anymore scarlet, which didn't help when you bravely kissed his warm cheek, but he embraced you back looking shyly over your head. A smile appeared on his lips beneath the scarf knowing he finally had his Queen.
