I began to leave the café after another long night shift when a hand tightly wrapped itself around my wrist, pulling me into an alley a couple feet away.

"Hey!" I screamed, looking at the intruder, "Finn, I told you to leave," I thrashed my wrist out of his grasp.

"And I thought I told you that we needed to talk," he replied.

I snorted. "Get out of my face, you pathetic excuse of a human," the space between us increased as I started to walk away.

"It was a one time thing!" He tried to explain, clearly lying like I was an idiot or something. I turned around, hugging my chest.

"A one time thing?" I began, "Raven....was your girlfriend while I was your girlfriend for months," tears started to fill my eyes. "I trusted you so much," my voice broke, just like my heart did a couple of weeks ago.

"I know, baby," he tried to console me, walking up to me and hugging me. I pushed him off of me without hesitation.

"It was one thing for you to cheat and to want me back, but to want me back while also reaching out to Raven to get her back, too?! I can't even look at you," my gaze averted itself.

"I'm sorry," he said. "Just give me one more chance. Come back to Polis," he tried to pull me into another hug.

"Who is this?" a voice interrupted. Murphy.

Finn stepped away from me and towards Murphy, offering his hand. "Finn Collins."

"John Murphy, but you could call me...," he looked at me, seeing the heartbroken expression I was pulling. "Just John Murphy."

"What are you doing here?" My voice, still cracking, asked.

"Raven and I were working on some recipes back at the Blake's house. She called Jasper and he said we could pick up a couple of things from the shop," he answered. "Hey, do you want me to drive you home?" He asked.

"I'd love to go home!" I chirped immediately. "Bye, Finn," I grabbed Murphy's arm and started dragging him into the car, not even looking at Finn.

"You are a lifesaver," I murmured to Murphy in secrecy, plopping myself into the car seat before he went into the café to grab his food.
