I screamed for what felt like hours.

Maybe it has been hours.

From what I could tell, he had been driving for a while. He didn't turn around to look at me once. He just drove.

He duct-taped my mouth shut when I wouldn't stop screaming for help. He pulled into a small driveway that led to a crappy-looking RV and then unbuckled his seatbelt. My face was probably ruined with mascara and tears falling down it.

"It's okay, baby," he caught me through his mirror. "I won't let anyone touch you. No one but me."

Chills traveled down my spine and before I could blink, he was out of his car door and opening mine.

"Don't fight me, princess." Suddenly the nickname didn't excite me anymore. Not the way Bellamy's voice did when he said it.

I don't know what was wrong with me, but I couldn't stop crying. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't suppress the tears.

He dragged me into the crammed RV and stuffed me down on his bed. "Stay here." He went back outside to grab food from his trunk.
Meanwhile, I thought about how my life had been taken away from me within seconds. The shock rippled through my nerves.

I decided that the only way to get out was to obey him. I started by crying all of my tears out so I wouldn't have anything left to lose.

"Stop crying, Clarke."

"Roan...why?" I questioned, an enraged expression assembling itself over my features.

His eyes darkened. "Say it again."

"What?"

"My name. Say my name again."

I closed my eyes tightly, praying this was all just a god awful nightmare.

"No, I won—," he gripped my arm.

"Say it!"

"Roan!" I screamed, prying my arm out of his. He gripped my chin, tugging my face up to his.

"You will obey me, princess."

"You're just going to take me away from my home? My friends?" I asked.

"Just pretend they're dead," he suggested seriously, making me wonder what the hell was wrong with him.

"Let me go. You know Bellamy will come to find me."

"Who's Bellamy?" He was in front of me in seconds. "Are you with Bellamy?"

I hesitated. "N-no. We're not together." But we could have been. Roan's shoulders relaxed.

"Then you won't mind if I find him and kill him."

My gaze shot up to his. "What?! Stop!" I shoved his chest.
