"Mom, you look hot!" I said as my mom sported a tight navy dress for her Bachelorette party.
We've been through this before. The whole Bachelorette party thing, the wedding, the dress shopping, but because my mom loved Kane so much, she wanted to feel like she was getting married for the first time. And we had the money, so it wouldn't hurt too much.
"Thank you, baby," my mom blushed and played with her hair in front of the mirror. "How many of your friends are coming? I don't want you to be lonely."
"Raven and Roma said they would come. Octavia is working late with her boss."
Lucky bitch.
"Sounds great," my mom sighed. Last time, her Bachelorette Party was apparently boring as hell. It was before I was born. Maybe a year or two earlier. All she did was have dinner with friends at a steakhouse.
Along with the help of my mom's friend, Indra, we decided that this year would have clubs, and limos, and......strippers. Indra's idea, not mine.
I got a text from Raven. Limo is on its way.
"The limo is almost here," I told everyone. There weren't many people which was a good thing. My mom brought three friends and I brought two.
About 5 minutes later, a black limousine approached my driveway. We all but shoved my mom into the vehicle and drove off to who knows where. We just wanted the limo for a while.
While my mom and her friends popped open a bottle of vodka in the back of the limousine, Raven, Roma, and I spent all of our time through the roof. We enjoyed the chilly wind flying through our hair as we passed Arkadian stores and houses.
As the limo halted at a red light, a group of boys about our age crossed the street. All of them were extremely attractive, none as close to Bellamy, but still—it didn't hurt to look at them.
"Hey, you!" Roma shouted at a brunette beauty, his big eyes gazing back at her. "You're hot!" She giggled and the guy blushed, rubbing at the nape of his neck. A spontaneous connection was made. The moment was cut short when the red light turned green and the vehicle moved forward.
A hand gripped my wrist and pulled me back down into a lap. "Try some," my already drunk mother lifted a new bottle of vodka to my face.
"Mom, stop," I giggled. She pulled the bottle away with a shrug.
"Okay, baby. You're missing out."
"I will gladly have some, Ms. Griffin, soon to be Mrs. Kane," a happy Roma snatched the large bottle out of my mom's hold and lifted it up to her mouth for a sip. "Ah," she sighed, refreshed.
"Oooh, me too," Raven opened her mouth, inviting the alcohol. "Let's get drunk!"
"No guys, that's a bad idea," I stated. It's too bad my mom nor her friends didn't care anyway.
