Snap. A light flashed trough the room. "One more!" Roma exclaimed, taking pictures of Octavia like a mother would her child before prom.

"I have to get going," Octavia whined, anxious of the situation.

"Don't worry, O," Bellamy said. "You look beautiful and you're going to kill it tonight."

"Yeah. And besides," I pulled Octavia away from Bellamy so he couldn't hear. "Your boss is going to want you so badly," I reassured her. She blushed and patted down her dress.

"What time is it?" She asked and Bellamy checked his watch.

"6:58," He answered and Octavia's dropped in panic.

"He's going to be here any minute! Oh my God, I'm not ready for this. Why did he even invite me?!" She started pacing the floor.

Raven walked right up to Octavia and grabbed her shoulders. "You're ready for this, okay? We've been talking about it for a week now and I'm not about to be disappointed in a stupid nervous feeling in your chest. Now suck it up and pull your shit together because you look fucking gorgeous in that designer dress and shoes and your boss is going to have to do a double take before he pulls you out into the dance floor and finally claims what's his," Roma riled her up.

Octavia face relaxed and she started to take deep breaths.

"Excuse me?" Bellamy's voice echoed through the room. "What's this about her boss?"

"Oh my god! He's here!" Roma announced staring through the front window. A very, very handsome man was seen exiting black limo car doors and walking up to the front door. Raven, Roma, Bellamy, and I all hid in different parts of the house. Raven heading for the kitchen, Roma heading for a closet, and Bellamy and I bumping into each other on our way to a bedroom.

"Go!" I rushed him in a whisper, shoving him into the bedroom before I followed him in. We both leaned against the door to listen in on their conversation.

"Hi," I could hear the nervousness in her voice, but it sounded more cute than embarrassing.

"Hello, Ms. Blake," a gruff voice replied. "You look beautiful," he added and my pride peaked.

"Thank you, sir," she said.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked, the excitement in his voice very present.

"Yes, sir," she answered.

"Ms. Blake, you can just call me Lincoln for tonight," he suggested and I smiled. She was probably dying inside in that moment.
