Sam
Alex woke up afew times last night, he was either hungry, wanting attention or needed his nappy changed. Minho just grumbled and rolled over in bed.
"Morning babe." Minho yawns, sitting up in bed.
"Morning." I mutter, rubbing my eyes - whilst Alex still drinks my milk.
"Is that how he eats?" Minho asks, eyeing Alex, confused. I nod, yawning loudly. "Well I gotta get going honey, see you later, love you." He kisses me on the cheek, before putting on some clothes and leaving the room.
"Love you too." I mumble, adjustng Minho's shirt on me and laying Alex on the double bed. I dress myself and pick him up again. I open my bedroom door and walk down to the dining hall.
"Hey Frypan." I smile tiredly.
"Hey Sam, you look abit on the tired side. Do you want some food?" He replies sympathetically.
"Yes please." I say, my stomach grumbling. He passes me the food and i walk over to Newt and Chuck's table.
"You look bloody exhausted." Newt points out.
I nod, "Try having a baby."
Newt laughs.

I lay Alex down in his makeshift cot, for his daily nap. He yawns and settles down. I creep downstairs and out of the homestead. I look around for Gally and spot him building a fence.
"Hey Gally, can i borrow some of that wood, please." I smirk.
"Uh.. Sure." He smiles, passing some over.
I steal some tools and walk over to a tree at the edge of the deadheads. I get to work and begin to craft. I run up to the kitchen and steal some uncooked rice. I giggle, running back to my tree.
I finish the toy and hold it up. Chuck walks over, "What is that?" He asks.
"A rattle, look shake it." He shakes the rattle.
"IT RATTLES!" He yells, I laugh.
"Its for Alex." I smile.
After my small chat with Chuck, I go for a walk in the meadow. I smile closing my eyes at the peace and quiet. I glance around at all of the arrays of colourful flowers. I pick some and run back to my tree. Weaving the flowers together, I create 8 flower crowns. I place one on my head and walk over to Gally and Newt."Here." I laugh, placing them on their heads.
Gally sighs, "Really?"
Newt laughs, "You look like a bloody shuckface." tears sping to his eyes as he laughs at Gally's expression. I join in their laughter. Gally just smiles, shaking his head.
"I gotta go guys, ill see you in a bit." With the rattle and the flower crowns in my hands i walk back up to my room.
Alex giggles as i enter his room. "Hey there little one." I exclaim,"Did you have a good sleep?" He squeals in response.
I hold him in my embrace, walking back over to the tree. I sit down, leaning against its trunk and sitting Alex inbetween my legs. I lay a flower crown onto his head and pass him the rattle. He shakes it around, amazed at the sound it makes.
He turns around to face me, and begins to crawl into my arms. I smile at him, staring into his light brown eyes.
I embrace him tightly, hugging him closely like my life depends on it. I look over towards the doors. Minho and Thomas run through. They head towards the map room. Alex squeals and kicks his legs, crawling over to the treetrunk I am leaning against.
Minho
Me and Thomas run through the doors in record time. Guilt washes over me as I recall this mornings event. I hope Sam doesn't hate me - I was acting like such a shank.
We run into the map room, sketching out our maps from today. Thomas heads off to the showers and I look for Sam and Alex.
Sam sits under a tree with her arms outstretched, playing with Alex. Alex giggles as she holds him up in the air, bring him down to her chest every now and then. A flower crown sits on each of their heads. "Hey Minnie!" Sam calls out to me.
I laugh shaking my head and walking over to the tree. "Really? Minnie?" I smirk, sitting down next to her.
"How has Alex been today?" I ask.
"He has been really good." She smiles, pulling out a flower crown and placing on my head.
I cock my eyebrow, leaning over to see Alex. "Hey there!" I coo. Alex giggles, crawling over to me.
I check my watch. "Hey? Sam, do you want to go to dinner?"
She nods, picking Alex up. I stand up, helping her do the same. We walk over to the dinner hall, "I'll get your dinner, don't worry." I smile.
Sam goes over to Newt, Alby, Thomas, Gally and Chuck's table. She sits down and places Alex on her lap. I collect our food and join them at their table.
"Oh yeah!" Sam squeals, making everyone at our table jump. "Ive got you these." She pulls out the remaining flower crowns and puts them on Thomas, Chuck and Alby's heads. Alex giggles at them. Chuck laughs.
We continue to eat dinner. "I've got to go guys and have my check up in the medjacks hut - see you later." Sam calls out. I help her to her feet and pick up Alex in my arms. We walk over to the medjacks hut.
"You didn't have to come." Sam smiles.
I shrug, "I wanted to help."
Sam
"Hey Sam, Minho and Alex." Jeff greets us, "how you doing?"
"Eh, alright." I reply, smiling.
"Good that, now, how's the little Greenie?" Jeff asks, Minho passes Alex to Jeff.
Jeff examines him carefully, balancing Alex on his waist, as he looks inside Alex's open mouth. "No teeth yet - that's ordinary, No scratches or wounds - perfect." Jeff says, "He is doing great." I take Alex from him, cradling him in my arms.
"Thank y-" Minho starts, but is interrupted by shouts of fear.
Minho looks at me and Alex and we rush outside the medjacks hut. "Chuck! Hey!" Chuck looks over when I shout.
"Hey guys." He says, breathlessly.
"What's going on? Why is everyone panicking?" Minho asks, concern laced in his voice.
