Sam

A week had passed, and the entire camp was going crazy for the upcoming wedding.

Gally and a group of friendly people had offered to make chairs and an archway for the ceremony, and another group of, mostly women, had offered to help me make the decorations.

"It's almost finished!" My mother calls out excitedly as she holds up the needle and thread for me to see as I enter her hut.

"No way!" I cry out, rushing to her side and observing as she carefully pulls the stitches through the silky white material several times before tying it off and then proceeding to stitch up another part of the wedding dress.

"And..." she mutters, lost in her concentration, pulling the white thread through the cloth, "done!" She then ties off the final stitch, and gently holds up the dress for me to see.

It was beautiful. The intricate sewing unnoticable on the silky cloth that was bunched together at the top and fitted at the waist, where it flowed gracefully down to the floor and into a small train that trailed smoothly behind it.

"It's beautiful, mum. Thank you so much!" My hands cup around my mouth, as I am too shocked to do anything, and I rush forwards into her warm embrace. "I love it, thank you."

"My dear, you are very welcome." My mum smiles at me, stroking my hair and tucking it behind my ear in a comforting act of motherly love.

"Oh, hey, babe!" Minho calls out, a smile overtaking his features as he comes to my side, glancing at me and our paint covered son. "Woah."

"I know!" I sigh, exhausted at my previous efforts to keep the white paint off of his clean, newly washed clothes, but to no avail, Alex was insistent on painting himself and not the wooden chairs. "It was such a simple job, but..."

He chuckles, "I'll bath Alex, don't worry, babe."

"Thank you." I smile, leaning over and capturing his lips in mine, glad to have a non-lazy husband to be.

"However, everything comes with a price though..." He trails off, winking suggestively as my face heats up.

"Shuck yourself." I sass, shooting a glare his way and turning back to the painted white wooden chairs.

He chuckles loudly, earning the attention of a couple of people nearby; one of which was Newt, who raises an eyebrow suspiciously, noticing my flushed cheeks and Minho's signature smirk.

Minho leans down and swoops Alex into his arms, cooing and laughing at Alex's adorable giggles as they turn and head towards our large hut by the sea.

"How are you holding up, love?" Newt asks, as he too joins me by the chairs.

"To be honest." I start, glancing up at the blonde teen to meet his sympathetic gaze, "I'm excited, exhausted and worried. And these chairs probably won't be dry for tomorrow!"

He lays a hand on my shoulder, a symbol of 'calm the fuck down'. "They'll be fine, see, they're already drying."

I sigh, "why are you always so right? And calm?"

He chuckles, "There's no point wasting your energy on a pointless worry, because it'll give you wrinkles at the end of the day."

"I'm so bloody inspired." We laugh, as I quote one of his sarcastic remarks from back in the glade.

After almost an hour had passed, Newt and I had finally finished painting the wooden chairs a bright, white; and they looked as good as new.

"Thank you for your help." I say, turning to Newt who was struggling to get the paint from his hair.

"No worries, Sam. Go and get some rest, you've got a long day tomorrow." He smiles, giving me a gentle push and sending me on my way to mine and Minho's large hut.

I quietly push open the large wooden door, and it emits a small creak at the sudden contact. A smile creeps onto my face as I tip toe down the corridors and into the bathroom, where the sound of giggles and chuckles was coming from.

"Look at you!" Minho chuckles, as Alex squeals loudly staring into the scratched mirror at the style his father had created on his hair, exactly like his own.

My heart swells at the adorable sight, as Alex finally catches sight of me in the mirror he was peering into "ma!" He giggles, earning the attention of Minho.

"Do you like his hair?" Minho smirks, showcasing the 'fashionable' style.

"I think it's adorable." I coo, kissing Alex softly on the cheek and leaning over to grasp his towel and then proceeding to help him out of the bath; whilst Alex and Minho laughed and giggled at eachother from over my shoulder as I put him to bed.

Before Minho and I retired to the comfort of our own bed ourselves, prepared for the big day we had scheduled for tomorrow.
