'Never try this again'
"What's that supposed to mean?" Newt wonders, aloud.
Suddenly Robert's head tilts to look at Newt. "Don't go down there! They'll kill you! They'll kill you..." His voice was strained as his head falls back into place, one last breath escaping his chapped lips.
Newt gulps. "What the shuck...?"
"Baggers, Take Roberts body and put it in that glass case we found in the box last month, oh and, tape the note to the top of it." Alby demands, and a couple boys that I don't recognise nod and carefully lift Roberts body off of the ground.
I turn, unable to take the sight any longer, and I walk towards the deadheads. Minutes turn to hours and before I know it, I'm deep in the forest. I breathe a sigh of relief, taking in the beautiful greens and browns of the nature surrounding me. I gently stroke my large stomach, at least 6 and a half months large, a couple of months before the birth.
A deep ache pangs in my lower abdomen, but I push the thought of childbirth aside, it was way too early for contractions. Everthing suddenly begins to spin, and I lean against a tree to support myself. I sink to the floor, black spots filling my vision and I lay my head back, giving in to unconsciousness.
"Minho, there's something you need to know."
"Yeah?" He smiles encouragingly, urging me to continue.
"A couple of weeks ago, when we had sex in your room, I took a test thing. And it came out positive." I force out, staring at his confused face.
"What's that supposed to mean? Positive? ...What?"
"I'm pregnant, Minho." I spit out.
"I- wait, what?" He manages to force out, a shocked expression covering his features. "My baby? I'm going to be a father?"
"Yeah, Minho. You're going to be a father." I smile up at him.
"This is amazing! I love y-"
I gasp, awakening instantly. The sky was dark, and it was then that I realise that my lap was wet. I glance down, it was blood. I was having contractions.
I was in labour at midnight and all alone.
