THE BIG DAY

The sun shined brightly indicating the arrival of a new day..

A new day and a new beginning..
For the King.. and His fiance-to-be Lavanya..
For Khushi and his fiance-to-be Aman

SCENE 1

Garima came inside her daughter's room with a smiling face but her smile faded seeing her daughter as dull as she is from few days..

There is no glow on her face on her big day like other brides..

She is sitting beside the window lost in her thoughts..

Garima's motherly instincts were saying that something is definitely not right in her daughter's life but little did she know that not something but everything is in a way not right in her daughter's life..

She went towards her daughter and sat beside her..

As soon as Khushi saw her mother she tried to mask her inner turmoil with a cheerful smile but this her Maa wasn't going to buy her fake smile..

She gently patted her head and said- Say it Khushi.. Bring it out before its too late..

Khushi saw a silent support in her mother's eyes so gathering of her courage she said-
Maa.. I.. I have taken a decision..

SCENE 2

While one of the bride was totally devasted the other one was highly nervous..

Since the time she woke up she is pacing the length of her room..
Her palms are cold and ice and no excitement is visible on her face even..

A knock on her room's door jerked her out of her thinking..
Taking a deep breath she went to open the door and a smiling NK came before her..
Seeing him.. She genuinely smiled for the first time since morning..

SCENE 3

The king was always an early riser but today his day began much earlier..
Instead of preparing himself for his engagement.. Today he was busy in supervising the preparations of the day especially regarding his childhood friends' Aman and Khushi's engagement much to everyone's surprise..

He was keeping a keen observation on each and everything personally..
His eyes had extra shine today..
And we can say that unlike both the brides.. His face had an extra and unusual glow today..

SCENE 4

While one groom was glowing and engrossed in preparations of his friends' engagement..
The other groom was restless the most..
He wasn't able to sleep yesterday.. Whole night he spent thinking what would he do now and what would this day has for him..
He very badly needed someone's assurance and there was only one person who could provide that much needed assurance to him..
With a small smile he dialled the number waiting for the other person to receive the call..
After a talk of almost 15 minutes.. He was relaxed..
Disconnecting the call.. He turned back only to find that person in front of him who was the main reason of all these restlessness.. The person was no one else but his fiance-to-be Khushi..
His face lost all its colour seeing tears in her eyes..

EVENING 5PM..
SHEESH MAHAL..

The hall of the palace was crowded just like the day of coronation..
Many important people of the state had arrived to attend the engagement ceremony of king and his childhood friends..

Soon a nervous Aman came into picture all ready for his engagement looking no less than a prince but only thing that lacked was happiness in his eyes.. His family and relatives made their way inside while he stood near the entrance lost..
