Dear Dax Amaury,

You're someone with one of the warmest smiles that is able to warm the coldest of hearts simply with the glow against your chocolate colored skin. I may not know you on a personal level but I have admired your fluid movements, the dynamic movement of your feet and the way your flannel swayed along with the beat of the music when you dance since I watched your first performance when you joined our school.

Another thing I adore about you is your humour. Unlike most boys in our grade, your jokes do not hurt people or make them feel small but rather quite entertaining. Furthermore, what makes you a sensational person is the fact that you never poked your nose in rumours or even gave a piece of your attention to them.

You never gave into your anger either. I'll admit; there were several times I caught you clenching your fists at the ones who called you names that the devil would be pleased hearing. But you'd rather clench it to the point where you get hurt than to let anyone else get hurt and if that isn't an act of good – nature than I don't know what is. But darling, as selfless as that might be, do not harm yourself as an act to protect others.

Nowadays I only see you sitting alone at the corner of the basketball court, watching your team members play. Why stay out of something when you can embrace the stereotype? You were born to be an athlete with big dreams, you were born to sway your hips to the rhythm of the earth, you were born with alluring dark texture as pleasing as the night sky, you were born to bring laughter into this world with your comedic personality, you were born with a heart filled with compassion and anyone who fails to acknowledge that isn't worth your time.
