Adrien look around the kitchen. He had to get out of here before he was taken back to that cold world. Surely that blood sucker was bluffing, he couldn’t know where Adrien was at every second. Vampire or not, you couldn’t just ‘know’ where someone was unless you could hear them or knew where you last them right? But then again, he was a vampier. So normal reality didn’t apply for Mr. Belmont.

“Don’t do it stupid.” The white bear sat on the counter playing with a knife, “Bad enough you pissed him off and you’re lucky that he’ll still help if you ask him. Don’t push your luck.”

“I’m not staying here.” Adrien said as he walked over to sliding glass door.

“Yes, you are.”

The redhead whirled around, stunned at the vampire’s sudden appearance.

Sebastian shook his head. “I go upstairs for a moment and the next thing I sense, you’re headed for the door to try and run away. I told you Mr. Horn, I’ll know where you are. You can’t hide anywhere or sneak out of this house without me knowing.”

“But that’s impossible.”

Mr. Belmont walked over to the fridge, open the door, and pulled out a small bottle of sparkling cider. “Come on Mr. Horn, you study vampires. Don’t you know that a vampire’s senses are more keen than humans? We can sense your presence long before you sense ours and trust me, it’s easy to know where you are.”

Of course he knew that about vampires, he. . . . .wait. “How did you know I studied vampires?”

Sebastian twisted off the cap and took a sip, “Your friends told me and in your drunken state last, you told me as well after claiming I was a vampire. Speaking of. . . . .your book is here, let me go get it.” He turned and headed out of the kitchen.

Adrien looked outside; it was now or never.

“You know,” Sebastian’s voice came from the living room. “I’m surprised that you would. . . .”

Adrien turned and unlatched the door. Sliding it to the side, he stepped out into the rain and ran. But as soon as he did, his foot slipped on wet patio and fell into the pool. The water lopped over his mouth and nose as his flailed his arms about. His closes became heavy and started to drag him down.

Sebastian heard the distinct splash and sighed. That kid didn’t know when to give up. Putting the book down, he hurried outside to see if the boy was okay but instead, saw his head disappear under the water’s surface at the last second. He took off his T-shirt and dove into the water. Air bubbles from his entry floated up around him as he swam down towards Adrien, who was now struggling to breath.

Two air bubbles left Adrien's mouth before he put his hand on his throat. He was out of air; he needed to breath now. Darkness started to claim his vision, this was it. This was his escape from this cruel world. He closed his eyes and was more than ready to welcome death.

But a pair of vial lips suddenly pressed themselves against his and a tongue forced his mouth open. Oh god, it was Mr. Horn! His lips were here and forcing Adrien to have one last vile kiss. But of course he would, Adrien’s was his forever. Adrien excepted the fact for it was his fate.

And no one could change their fate.

A quick breath of air was forced into Adrien’s lungs, giving him life once more. Then a pair of hands guided him back up. His head broke the surface and took in a lushes deep breath of air and flopped his arms like a fish, which caused him to almost drown again.

Sebastian came up to the surface and treaded water for a moment before swimming over to the redhead and helping him to the edge of the pool. Adrien looked over his shoulder and broke into a nervous breakdown. “Y-you k-kissed me.”
