The afternoon sun was blocked out by the curtains but Sebastian could still feel some rays sneaking in. He slowly rolled onto his side and stared at the door.

It was a rough night. He was surprised he was able to sleep at all. With a groan, he got himself out of bed and took a quick shower. Dressed in a silk leopard patterned bathrobe that was tied with a black skill belt and black shorts, the vampire made his way down into the kitchen. The familiar coldness of the tile greeted him as he walked into the kitchen.

“Afternoon,” Richard greeted, standing over the stove.

“You’re cooking?” Sebastian asked as he sat at the table.

“Well, yeah, you kinda left me hanging this morning. Hey, my cooking isn’t that bad.”

Sebastian chuckled, “I never said it was. It was a long night though. Did that witch leave?”

Ricard flipped a pancake over. “Yes, after running into Dad, who was coming home. Then I got into an argument with her how we treated her, and I quote: ‘. . .With unfairness and non-gentleman like.’”

Sebastian rested his head on the table.

“Yeah, that’s what I wanted to do too. Speaking of which, what the hell got into you last night? Killing that man was unreasonable.”

Sebastian buried his face in his hands, “Honestly, I don’t know. I felt. . . . .I was just. . . . .”

“Spit it out, Sebby.”

“It didn’t feel like it was me.”

Richard looked over at him. “What do you mean?”

The younger twin shook his head, “It was a feeling of pure anger and bloodlust. I know I’m not like that.” He met his brother’s eyes, “It was almost like something else was trying to take over.”

Richard paled then slowly turned back to the stove. He opened his mouth to explain, but out of fear and worry, different words rolled off of his tongue. “I. . . .I don’t know what to say about that. How’s Adrien?”

“Depends on which version he decides to be.” Sebastian stood and made his way up stairs. He slipped underneath the door using mist form and stood in a corner of the room.

Adrien slept uneasily, his body shook and the distinct smell of arousal caused Sebastian to turn pale. By the gods! Was Adrien. . . .dreaming about that man?!

How deep did this corruption of love go? How black did Collin taint Adrien’s heart, mind, and soul?

He walked over to the bed and gently shook the boy’s shoulder. Adrien eyes quickly snapped opened. He sat up and curled up, trembling with tears flooding his eyes.

Sebastian sat on the edge of the bed and placed his hand on the boy’s shoulder to attempt to help calm him, but instead the boy jumped out of bed.

Oh no you don’t. Sebastian’s hand shot out and took hold of Adrien’s arm just as the redhead’s feet cleared the bed. Adrien’s body hit the bed with a bounce as Sebastian pulled him back.

“Relax. It’s just me.” said Sebastian.

“No, I won’t do it!” Adrien reached over and swung his fist. Sebastian let it hit him in the stomach. It was a weak hit but Sebastian wasn’t about to stop the boy. Adrien needed this. There still had to be anger dwelling deep in his soul, so maybe if the boy had something to take his anger out on, maybe his sanity would repair itself. Adrien quickly straddled the vampire and threw punches like crazy.  He would kill that man, and here he was. Right before him the man who caused all his misfortune. His own father would die here and now!
