Adrien and Sebastian where thrown across a circular field of light blue. The world around was dark blue, filled with little white lights and an ominous-looking black cloud.
“What the hell?” Sebastian groaned as he got to his feet. He tore away his tattered shirt. “Where did you send us Adrien?”
Adrien looked up at him. “Don’t blame this on me.”
Sebastian narrowed his eyes. “I wasn’t.” His eyes scanned the area, then his ears picked up a low groan.
Adrien got to his feet and looked behind him. “Agnés?”
Sebastian turned, seeing the old vampire laying upon his stomach. “You’re here too Agnés?”
Agnés slowly got to his feet. “I’m too old to be thrown around like this. So where are we?”
Adrien made his way over to the edge. Peering over, he could see nothing but blue for miles on end. He gazed over at the others. “Are we dead?”
Agnés quickly pinched Sebastian’s arm.
“OW! What the heck Agnés?” He growled, flashing his fangs.
Keeping his calm expression as usual, Agnés turned to the redhead. “We’ve very much alive. Otherwise, we would’ve ran into Richard.”
Simultaneously, Adrien and Sebastian gazed at the ground.
Adrien bit his lip.“It’s my fault.”
“Don’t say that,” Sebastian interjected. “Your powers ran out of control. It could’ve happen to anyone.”
“It has happen to someone before.” Agnés informed, causing the young vampires to turned to him. “Lord Dracula had this kind of power as well, leading to his demise after a few hundred years. I actually had the pleasure to meet him, an honorable fellow, if not a little scary at times when he was angry.”
Adrien rejoined them. “I thought Dracula was evil.”
“Only if you believe the fabricated stories. He actually wanted to save his people from any threat, though from time to time he nearly lost himself to a blood rage.”
Sebastian cleared his throat and his voice became iron. “Sorry Professor, but let’s save the lesson when we actually get out of here.” He turned and walked around, observing every detail, then focusing his eyes upon the black cloud.
It began to rumble.
“Oh good,” chimed a voice. “You’re still alive.”
Agnés’s eyes widened. He quickly stepped in front of Adrien to protect him. “It can’t be. I ended your life!”
Khalid emerged from the cloud. His black eyes with red irises flicked over at him. “I’m an angel. I ask you this monster: how do you kill an angel?”
“You can’t.” Sebastian answered instead. “But a fallen one, however, is considered a demon. And demons can be sent back to Hell.”
A twisted scowl came upon the angel’s face. “I’ve waited too long to kill your kind, even more to rip you to shreds, Sebastian Belmont.”
Sebastian looked over his shoulder. “Agnés, protect Adrien. I got this.”
As the two back away, Khalid pulled out two swords and tossed one to the pureblood. Surprisingly, the sword was no other than Silver Wind. Sebastian picked up his trusty companion and flexed his wrist. “Any rules?”
“Just make sure your opponent is dead.” The angel replied with a snarky tone. He lurched forward, sword gliding through the air like a knife through smooth butter. Sebastian moved his body towards the left as the blade came within a millimeter of his exposed skin. He jumped back and launched an attack of his own, thrusted forward and nicking Khalid’s shoulder.
