The sound of many voices and the sound of screw drivers awoke Sebastian. Pain flared in his shoulder again, but it wasn't as intense as last night. Before he opened his eyes, he felt a small wight upon his chest. Upon opening his eyes, he came face to face with a small brown bat.

He groaned, "Get off of me Agnés. It's too early for this."

Agnés shook his head and crawled up to Sebastian's right shoulder. The billionaire sighed and pulled his short-sleeve up to expose his shoulder. Agnés crawled over and gently started to lick the wound. A warm shiver tingled down Sebastian's back as he braced himself to what was to come next.

The ancient vampire's fangs gently sank into the burned flesh of the wound. Sebastian let out a painful gasp as the ancient vampire helped clean the old blood with his enzymes. With a yelped in pain, Sebastian gripped the bedsheets to prevent himself from throwing the little demon off of him. "It's to early for this damnit!"

The brown bat released his fangs from the young vampire's flesh and transformed into his human form. Sitting on the side of the bed, Agnés reached over and gently creased the edge of the wound with his fingers. "Sorry, but you started moaning in pain while you slept so it needed to be clean."

Sebastian sat up and ran his hands over his face. "You couldn't wait till I was fully awake?"

Agnés violet eyes glimmered with a sense of love and concern. "You still would've protested either way. When it come to my bite, you squirm like a child. And I wasn't going to do it while you slept either, you sleep like an angel and there was no way I was going to disturb that gorgeous look."

"Shut up." With slightly red cheeks, Sebastian gave him a light, playful shove before slipping out of bed and into the bathroom. Thoughts swarmed his head. Last night his cursed had burned in the presence of 'The Child'.

"Adrien?" He gazed doubtfully in the mirror. "Adrien; 'The Child'?" He shook his head as he filled the bathtub with water and bubble soap. It had to be a coincidence, a 'wrong place, wrong time' sorta thing. Stripping out of his clothes, he slipped into the lukewarm bath water and sank into the bubbles up to the tip of his nose.

Adrien couldn't have been 'The Child'. Sebastian had touched his blood once and he was still alive. Seriously, the odds of the redhead being 'The Child' was one out of a billion.

"It's not possible," he said, sitting up. "It's just not freaking possible!"

"What's not possible?" Agnés's voice called from the bedroom.

Sebastian dunked himself under the water for a few moments, the resurfaced. "It's nothing." He replied, wiping the water droplets off his face. After a few more minutes of soaking, he drained the water and got out. With a light yellow towel wrapped tightly around his waist, he stepped back into the bedroom. Agnés sat in a chair in the corner of the room as the young vampire made his way over to his dresser.

"You stayed with me last night," Sebastian said, turning to him. "Why?"

"Incase your shoulder acted up while you slept. I was concern however when you started tossing and turning. Did you have a nightmare?"

Sebastian turned back to his dresser, "I've been having those a lot lately. It mostly just repeats itself and ends with me falling to my death. It's nothing to worry about. . . .for now anyway."

"Are you concerned about them?"

Sebastian fished out a fresh pair of boxers. "There a kid; red hair, black eyes with red irises. He keeps talking nonsense like 'The Child's' blood will spill or. . . . No wait, one time he said that I would have a year to live and something about the Child of Death bringing death in its wake." He shook his head lightly, "Nevermind, I'm sure it's just me stressing out."
