"Why does my father think he's 'The Child'?" Sebastian growled. He stood in front of the girl. After seeing Adrien to bed and notifying Richard what had happened, Agnés and Sebastian had brought the girl down into the basement and tied her to a chair.
She giggled. "You vampires are so demanding aren't you—Ah!"
Sebastian slapped her across the face. "A human like you should've never known that we exist."
"I could take care of that." Agnés offered. He took off his cloak and set it down on the table, revealing his tight black T-shirt and black jeans. Then he resumed his original position: leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. His black slender claws lapped over his left forearm.
"Later." Sebastian turned to the girl. "Answer me or I'll start getting rough."
"Mmm. . . . .I like it when men get rough."
Fury flashed in the young vampire's eyes. "ANSWER THE QUESTION!"
"Calm yourself, Sebastian." Agnés said soothingly.
Sebastian huffed out a breath.
"He simply said because you're attracted to him." The girl replied.
"Very irrelevant," Agnés commented. "Sebastian doesn't have those kinds of feelings toward the boy. . . ." he glanced over at Sebastian, ". . . .Do you?"
"Of course not." He answered. "I think she meant attached—no wait! That's wrong as well. Shut up women!"
Agnés raised a brow, "Your cheeks are turning red."
Flustered, Sebastian folded his arms across his chest and stepped over to a corner. "Just drop it."
Agnés stepped away from the wall and approached the girl. "Madam, I'm going to ask nicely: What does Gabriel Belmont plan to do with the boy?"
"I don't know." She replied, "He just told me to get him and that I would be granted immortality."
Sebastian scoffed. "Please. My father doesn't give a damn about humans. He would just use you to get what he wants then turn you into a snack."
The girl rolled her eyes. "Whatever. I answered your question, now are you going to let me go or what?" She tugged at her bonds.
"Oh we will, right after this." Agnés raised his right arm and let it hover above her forehead. She gasped as a white mist formed above her forehead. Agnés's mind traveled into hers.
A white misty world with light pink, purple, sky blue mist swirling around in the mix and light sparkles glittering all around. Agnés walked along a cherry colored stone road. Along the side, small pictures with every memory the girl had were flowing along. He ran his right arm gently through the memories, plucking out the ones that involved vampires, Gabriel, and what had happened tonight.
With these memories stacked in his left hand, he continued walking down the path towards her subconscious. The silent black door opened with an ear-piercing creek. Agnés stepped forward and tossed the memories inside and watched as they fell down in a never-ending abyss. He stepped back and the door slammed in his face with a heavy bang.
Then he was back in the real world. He pulled out his hand and the girl lost consciousness.
"What should we do with her?" He asked.
Sebastian looked over his shoulder, "I don't know. Just dump her at a hotel or something similar. She'll find her way home."
Agnés blinked. "That's. . . . .not very gentlemen like."
