~A year later~
In a small house in downtown Hollywood, the phone rang in the home office. A tall man with shoulder length, black hair dyed with silver streaks answered it. “Hello?”
“Sebastian, it’s Agnés. How are you? Down Venom.”
Sebastian smiled. “Agnés, it’s been a while. I’m doing fine and it seems that Venom is doing fine as well. How are you? How’s the clan and what sate is the mansion in?”
There a was a brief pause, allowing Sebastian enough time to his thoughts drift as cast his gaze up at the Belmont Family portrait, more particularly, his brother. “The mansion is surviving. Are you sure it was okay to give your mansion to the clan?”
“I’ve told you before as long as they don’t go hunting the town’s people, it’s fine.” Sebastian replied. “They’re not keeping thralls, are they?”
“No, I have that under control.”
“How’s Aunt Petunia doing?”
Agnés sighed. “Driving the clan insane with her obsession for yaoi”—there was a loud crash followed by shouting in the background—“I’m. . .going to have to let you go Sebastian.”
The vampire nodded. “All right, I have to go pick up Adrien from school anyways. Oh, you’ll be there right?”
“Of course, I just wish you would’ve planed it for those who can’t go out in sunlight. Look I really need to go stop whatever is happening out there.”
“I understand. I’ll see you soon.” He hung up and stood from his chair then shook his head. Poor Agnés always had his hands filled after the clan moved into Sebastian’s mansion a year ago. Sebastian didn’t want to live there anymore since most rooms weren’t being used anyway and there was no need for a big, empty house anymore. He touched the locket around his neck contained a picture of his mother and brother before grabbing his jacket and started walking down the street.
Two blocks down, across the street, and taking a right, Sebastian came up to the school where students were already coming out, hanging out with friends or waiting for the bus or parents.
His eyes scanned the parking lot then the school steps were four familiar kids sat laughing and chatting. He smiled as he approached. “Good afternoon you four.”
Rosetta jumped to her feet. “Hi Mr. Belmont!”
Quinn looked up at her. “I’m starting to wonder who the boyfriend is here.”
She bent down and light slapped his shoulder before kissing him. Adrien stood and had a big smile upon his face. “You took your time.”
Sebastian wrapped his arm around his shoulder. “I walked. Save gas, save the earth you know?”
Alex pushed his glassed into place. “Actually, green house gasses have lowered due to the Clear Air Project.”
The billionaire raised a brow. “Unfortunately, the ozone is still hurting. Even with my money, I couldn’t clean the smog from L.A if I tried. Anyways, ready to get going Adrien?”
Adrien held up a finger. “Just a moment, I just. . . .need my ‘medicine’.” He flicked his eyes sheepishly at him the hurried into the school. Sebastian casted a calm look at the other three.
“I believe you three have somewhere to be at this time.” He stated then followed the boy inside and into the restroom. Adrien dropped his backpack and making sure no one was around, a puff of black smoke forming around him, changing him into a bat then latched himself to Sebastian’s neck. His fangs gently pierced the skin and the blood slowly seeped out, allowing him to lap it up with his tongue.
