The Legend of June and Day

Chapter 8-June's POV

I put on my black gloves and mask, and i stare at myself in the mirror.

"You shouldn't be the one going out there," Thomas tells me. "It should be me."

"Oh relax Thomas, if a i need help i'll call you on my mike," i say. I'm going to meet Day. I am going to give him a electrobomb in exchange for information. Once i'm ready, i head out to the slum sector of California. The poorest sector of California is called the Lake sector. I figured that if Day was poor i would hit the poorest sector first. The moment i get there Thomas comes over my earpiece ad says,

"June, you there?" I click my mike on with my tongue and say,

"Yeah, i'm here. I'm headed out toward Michigan and Millennium now."

"Alright, be careful," Thomas replies and then goes blank. I click my mike off. Once i get there i wait at least half an hour until i see a dark shadow appear. I stand up and call out,

"Day?" No replie. "Day?"

"Yeah," he replies back.

"I've come to bargain with you. Nothing more, Nothing less," i say.

"Alright, let's see what you've got," he says.

'I've come for information. Tell me what i need to know and i will give you an electrobomb," i say.'

"What kind of information?" he asks.

"All i need to know is this. Were you at a hospital recently searching for some plague cure?" i ask.

"That's none of your business," he says a little to quickly. "Why do you need to know that?"

"I told you; An electrobomb in exchange for information," i say. "I'm a soldier, Day it's what i do."

"Well then, i guess no electrobomb for me," he says turning around and walking off. I click my mike on and say,

"Thomas the deal was off. He didn't tell me anything. I guess we have to find him ourselves and bring him in."

"Alright, report back to headquarters," Thomas says. I click my mike off and start to walk.
