The Legend of June and Day

Chapter 10-June's POV

After hours off arguing with Thomas, i finally convinced him to let me go to a skiz fight in a bar i saw earlier that day. I get dressed up the same way in black gloves, boots and a scarf. Thomas said the only way i can go is if i wear my earpiece and mike. Once i get hooked up, i get into my jeep and take-off for the Lake sector. Once i get there i sit next to the ring. I think to myself that if this place has illegal Skiz fight someone might even personally know Day. Once the fight begins this so called girl, Natasha picks a fight with a shorts, medium build girl. The fight doesn't last that long. Since Natasha is much taller, she has the upper advantage. She gets 4 good punches to the head and the girl crumples to the ground like an old doll. I smile. If she wasn't poor, she would have been a excellent soldier. I guess i wasn't paying attention because the next fight Natasha picks a girl from one of the gamblers area. The girl shakes her head in horror. Natasha says,

"You know you can't back down right?" I coudn't let that poor girl hanging, so i get up and walk toward there and says,

"Don't you think it's a little unfair that you picking a fight with a girl that's twice the size smaller than you." Natasha glares at me then says,

"Well it should be easy for you, if you are willing to take her place." The girl looks at me and i sight and say

"Why Not" The girl looks across the room and her eyes meet a boy's. The boy hesitates then hold up one finger and the girl nods. She starts cashing in a bet for the favor of Natasha. When i look at the boy again i can tell he is regretting putting his money on Natasha. I am not worried i'm going to lose to Natasha. I worried that i will accidentally kill her. As soon as the fight begins, Natasha comes running toward me and i dodged right out of the way. She punches me hard in the stomach. I fumble out of the way as she get ready to kick me. Once her back is turned toward me i judo flip her over my shoulder. Once she gets up i punch her in the jaw. Blood states to stream out of her lips. I can see the anger in her eyes. She runs toward me bu stops when she is a foot away from me.Once i'm not paying attention she grabs something out of her jacket and punches me. It takes me a while to realize that i have been stabbed. I don't even think that's legal. No one seemed to notice. I look at my wound and gasp. That thing is huge. Only one knife could have caused that. The knife must be a shark's tooth pointed knife. I look at Natasha. She has a wicked smile on her face. If she doesn't want to play by the rules then i won't.

"Let's play dirty!" i mumble to myself. Once Natasha balls her fist to punch me and punches me i grab her wrist and don't let go. Natasha tries to pull back but she's worn out. I have a feeling that i shattered her wrist. She has the same wild look in her eye. Finally she says,

"Okay, you win just let GO!" When i do i realize that i have shattered her wrist. Once that's done the crowd shouts for me to pick another fight. I don't want to so i run off. A few gamblers run after me. That stab wound causes me to stumble and fall. Then gamblers wrench me back to the bar. Once i'm back i panic. All of a sudden dust flies everywhere. Someone must have set of a dust bomb. When i turn around i see a pair of beautiful blues eyes stare at me. He is the boy that regretted choosing Natasha. He looks at me and then says,

"Come on. Let's get out of here." He grabs me up and i hesitate. I don't know if i should go with him. It is my only chance to get out of here so i follow him. He pulls me into an alley where the girl that  i saved stands there. Before i can say anything i collapse into the boy's arms. He caught me and laid me down. His eyes are the last thing i see before i drift off.
