When the boy come back i give him a puzzled look. I knew he was going to visit his brother, but he came back so quickly. He waves at me and i wave back.
"Come on; I'm hungry. Let's go eat lunch," he says to Tess. She nods.
"Where are we going?" i ask.
'You'll see," she replies.
"Um, Tess. Can i go to the beach?" She gives me a strange look.
"Why?"
"I want some time alone. My parents used to take me to the beach when i was young, before they passed away," i say.
"Oh. Well i will give you 30 minutes."
"Thanks," i say and i run to the beach. Once i get there i sit down and click on my mike.
"June? June?" "You still there?" Thomas says.
"Yeah, i'm still here."
"Thank goodness. I thought you were died."
"Sorry. I got caught in a Skiz fight. I have minor injures. Once i get better i'll come back. I'm staying with two people. There're kids like me. The girl is younger like about 13. The boy is about my age, 15. I gotta go so bye," i say and i click off my mike. I sit there for a while. I wasn't lying when i said my parents used to take me. I don't remember. Metias used to tell that our parents used to take me and watch me trying to catch a pigeon. Metias said that they adored me. A tear falls onto my cheek. I get up and go back to the alley. Once i get there i see Tess and the boy eating burgers. I ask Tess,
"Where did you get the burgers?"
"Somewhere" She tosses me one. Once i finish it i take a nap.
