I thought I could change her feelings. Akala ko lang pala. Akala ko sa mga panahon na hindi maayos ang relasyon nila ni Zachary, may pag-asa akong maibaling ang isip at pagmamahal niya sa'kin. I thought I would have the shot to tell her what I feel.

Puro akala.

I took a sip of my Johnnie Walker Double Black. I was on my third bottle. Pero pakiramdam ko ay wala tama ang mga ito sa akin dahil hindi pa rin nawawala ang sakit sa puso ko. It only burns my throat but it's not nearly as bad as the sensation her name leaves on my lips. Alcohol stings as it goes down almost as bad as my skin does when she touch me.

That's when I realized that my love for Lissie was like a liquor, it burns as it moves in.

I chuckled. I'm getting so maudlin as time goes by.

"Give me another bottle." I commanded to the bartender.

"Yes—"

"Tama na, kuya."

My forehead suddenly creased when I heard that familiar treble voice. Iniangat ko ang mukha ko para siguruhing tama nga ang hinala ko. I sighed.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked in a dry voice.

"Bawal ba ako magpunta dito? Sa pagkakaalam ko open ang lugar na ito para sa lahat." she said.

Nakapalumbaba siya sa bar counter habang nakatingin sa akin. Her legs have been crossed away from me and pointing towards the nearest exit.

"Uh-huh. But the mere fact that you're sitting your ass beside me, means... you're here because of me. Am I correct or am I correct?" I said without pulling off my gaze at her. Hindi siya sumagot kaya napailing ako. "Tell me, are you following me?"

She stared at me for a couple of seconds before she laughed vulgarly. "Talino mo din, no!"

"Tss..." Muli akong sumenyas sa bartender na bigyan ako ng alak na agad niyang sinunod.

Why am I talking to this nutty alien girl by the way? What's her name again? Lina? Lima? Liya? Damn.

"Nagalala kasi ako sayo kaya sinundan kita." aniya matapos humagalpak ng tawa. Matapos lumagok ay muli akong napatingin sa kanya at seryoso na ulit ang mukha niya. "Mukha ka kasing wala sa sarili kanina, baka kako magpapakamatay ka." sabi niya sabay tawa na naman.

"What the hell?!" I exclaimed in frustration.

I looked at her while she's laughing herself to death. That's when I noticed that she has a very enticing face. But then, Lissie's face was way prettier than this girl.

Lissie.

I took a deep breath as I tightened my grip on my hair and groaned under my breath. My mind was actually going haywire.

She's pregnant. Ano pa ba ang laban ko?

"Sorry," the girl uttered.

Despite loud noises coming from system, I heard her mutter that word. Hindi ko siya pinansin at pinagpatuloy ang paginom. Things would be different by now. They will be having a child. I would be a hypocrite if I would say that I am happy for her, for them. Because heaven knows how broken I am right at this fucking moment.

A vibration from my phone snapped me out of my thoughts. I quickly took it from my slacks to see if there was a message. Lissie's name greeted my eyes. She replied. I swifly swiped it to read her message.

Damn! Even just a text from her made my heart thump.

Siyempre naman! Ninong ka. And invited ka sa kasal namin. I'll tell you the details soon.
