I opened my eyes and was greeted by the darkness of our room. Naririnig ko ang maingay na paghuni ng mga ibon mula sa veranda.

Umaga na.

It's so nice to hear the birds chirping early in the morning. For me, it's an indication that my day is going to be good. I'm not sure but I usually feel renewed whenever I hear them singing. Especially during sunrise.

Kinapa ko ang lampshade sa bedside table at agad na binuksan ito. Bahagyang kumirot ang mga mata ko dahil sa biglang liwanag na ibinigay nito. Segundo ang binilang bago muling nasanay. I looked at the wall clock and saw that it's only five in the morning.

We still have two hours to prepare.

I felt my husband move beside me. He slightly opened his eyes and looked at me with a sleepy face. Kahit sa pagtulog ay napakagwapo niya. He's devilishly handsome and ruthlessly attractive. Hindi nakakasawa tingnan. He suddenly brought his eyes at the wall clock and growled.

"What the fuck are birds so excited about at five am?" he said in a raspy voice.

Humalakhak ako. "Gusto siguro nila tayo gisingin. Alam siguro nila na may lakad tayo."

His gaze went to me for a moment. "You think so?"

I chuckled. "Yes. Para makapagayos na rin tayo. Bangon ka na,"

Nauna akong tumayo at hinila siya sa braso. Tumawa siya.

"Give me first my morning kiss, wife." aniya at ngumuso.

I shook my head with a smile on my face as I went back to our bed. Nang akmang hahalikan ko na siya ay hinila niya ang braso ko at inihiga ako sa kama, sa isang iglap ay nakapaibabaw na siya sa'kin.

I softly punched his hard chest and giggled. "Ano ka ba, puro ka kalokohan."

"Come on, it's just a kiss."

"Sige. Pero kiss lang, ha?"

Ngumisi siya. "I'll think about it." aniya at isinubsob ang mukha sa leeg ko. I felt his warm breath brushing against my cold skin.

"Sandali," pigil ko sa kanya at bahagya siyang inilayo sa akin. "Kailangan na natin magayos dahil baka maghintay ng matagal sila Mama. Isa pa si Zoe, baka gising na 'yon."

I saw his lips protrude. "Five minutes lang. Please, baby? Energizer lang."

I rolled my eyes. He's so insatiable. Of course, I can't say no to him. I just wish hindi pa gising ang anak namin. "Fine, make it quick."

A sexy smile played on his red lips. "That's my baby." he whispered huskily and crashed his lips against mine.

After our scorching 'breakfast in bed', we separately dragged ourselves into the bathroom. Hindi na kami nagsabay sa pagligo dahil alam ko na posibleng umisa pa si Zach once we both enter the bathroom with our fully naked body.

"I'll just check Zoe in her room, love." I said while combing my hair in front of my vanity mirror.

He's currently wearing his socks as his gaze shifted to me and looked at me through the mirror. "Sure, I'll follow you there."
