Big change comes from hundreds of tiny steps and they all matter.

Arching my back, I tried to ease the pain that was radiating through my body. When it didn't work, I finally blinked my eyes several times to adjust. A massive headache emitted, leaving me to put my free hands on my head. Realising now that my weak wrists were unbound and my legs were as well. This made me excited and it led me to stand up, but with my weak energy, I fell hard and I let out a small yell.

Sitting in the middle of a closed space, I started to look at my surroundings to find anything that could save me. I noticed that it was a small dungeon with only one source of light that shined through the door and the rest was dark.

A loud creak sound was amplified on the room when the door opened. The culprit entered and the same brown-eyed man that haunted my sane parts, the one that kidnapped me, was standing in front of me with a bored face and without any regrets.

The bounty hunter announced, "Let's go."

I asked, even with my dry throat, "Where?"

He replied, "He wants to see you before he gives you your sentence."

I continued confused, "Who?"

He said like he was in trance, "King Argent."

Questions were gone as he held my upper arm with force and pushed me up. It took time for weak legs to comply to stand straighter. I was trying to adjust to the standing position when he pushed me forward.

I whispered, pleading for my sake, "Slowly."

I know that he heard me from his werewolf hearing, however, he chose to ignore me and walk even faster. As we walked further, the light started to blind my sight and I tried to adjust to the bright light, which I didn't have a chance to see my surroundings.

Finally, for what it seemed like miles, the hunter opened the large golden door and stepped inside with me. I was already tired and fragile, so when he threw me in the middle of the lavish room, my legs gave out and I fell with a thud, closing my eyes in the process.

"He will pay for it."

I shouted by hearing my wolf's voice, inside of my head, "Roxanne?"

She answered me, "Yes, I am here. We are not going to die, I promise. I know that we are hurt but you need to stay with me."

I assured, "I am here. I have felt worst pain."

She said with rage, "Don't remind me." After calming down a small fraction, she started again, "Open your eyes, Amelia. Look where we are so we can find a way out."

I did as she suggested and began to scan the room. The first thing that I saw were two well-designed chairs that looked like throne chairs. Looking for more, I saw that the room had the red carpet and creamy walls. The entire room consisted of red giving a fiery echo with a mix of violence, danger and anger.

My eyes drifted at the new individual that walked inside. He was dressed in a white and red cape, along with a black suit inside. But what caught my eye was his big golden crown that sat on his head proudly. His gaze didn't pay any attention as he addressed to someone behind me.

The man with a diamond crown said, "I see you did your job."

Roxanne contemplated, inside of my mind, "How do we know him?"

I asked surprised to Roxanne, "Know him? I never met him."

She said with an underlining rage, "You are wrong."
