But it finally caught up with me...

Queen Argent brought me to a place where it was more secluded, away from prying eyes.

The Queen announced, "Amelia, meet your brother."

Paths of my life finally led me to a moment that I wanted to forget. In front of me wasn't just my brother, but two more individuals with him. In his left was a raven-haired girl with a black knee-cut dress and to his right another man with radiating power. The girl was around my age looked furious, meanwhile, my brother and the other man looked speechless.

There was a faint whisper of what it sounded like my name, but like everyone, I also ignored it and looked at them with a neutral expression. I didn't want to give anything away, so slipping my mask felt natural.

King Argent said loudly, "My son, our family is united."

My brother could only nod slowly, while his eyes never left my figure.

Queen Argent began again, "Amelia was very excited to meet you, son. She couldn't stop asking about you, but I wanted to leave it as a surprise..."

And a surprise it was...

The Queen continued while looking at me and my brother, "...I am happy that you brought company, son. Amelia, these are his best friends, these three are inseparable."

Suddenly, a guard rushed to where we were and interrupted our conversation.

He said, almost out of breath, "My King and Queen, there's something that you need to see."

Both of their faces scrunched by hearing those words, surprised. I registered to ask them later and take as much information as I could so in future I could use against them.

The Queen quickly nodded and turned to us, again.

She said to us, "Excuse us, kids."

Queen Argent and her husband were dragged by the guard while whispering about something. I couldn't concentrate because the sight in front of me was confusing. Before any words were exchanged, there was a pause...

I couldn't explain...

My brother's best friend said desperately, "How is this possible?"

My brother finally voiced, surprised, "This can't be happening. You were dead, but your body was never found. We thought that somebody..."

But it didn't take long for that irritating voice, "How dare you, Omega?"

There was so much I could have said between those thoughts that each one were going through, but I choose to stare at them with amusement. They were so caught up in the past that the present seemed unreal. It gave me time to take a quick glance at their auras and it showed that they were wearing their own feelings, which means that they can't hide their emotions.

The desperate individual tried again, unsure, "Amelia... is it you?"

My demons wanting to play...

That feeling to kill resurfaced and the need started to grow as I stared into the eyes of that man that killed everything in me, leaving me with shattered pieces. The anger started to rise and Roxanne trying to overtake my body to kill them all.

But I did not let that happen...

I fake smiled and said, "Mikael, it's been years, has not? How have you been?"

But before Mikael could say anything, Shannon took that moment to shout like a banshee, "How dare you to call him by his name? I am the only woman that can call him Mikael, my Mikael. To you, he is still your Alpha."
