A few days had passed by, and ever since then, the gang came to a mutal decision to obeserve you quietly as much as they could. They couldn't shake off how much of a drastic change you've got by after just a mere week of staying with your "grandmother" in New Orlando.

Throughout the first week of your return, they started to notice random weird gitters and squeaks coming from you. It seemed like you were malfunctioning as a person, and Fred even joked that you just were pretending to be friends with them and that you were a robot all along -- like Daisuke, who had 'feelings.'

However, everyone else quickly dismissed him. But a part of them feared the thought, because as they observed, the possibility was quite...  high. They could be deemed as crazy, but they were at their wits end at this point.

Regardless of the anxiety filled theories, the other part of them still hoped that their negative deductions were completely wrong. The gang was really worried about you. You barely replied to them or even acknowledged them as people in your life.

You were acting... strange.

This was beyond your normal behavior. Before, they knew that you just didn't talk much because you were shy, and they did notice a hint of your emotions spilling out sometimes, even in the cold demeanor that you built up.
It was okay, because to them, you were still human.

But now? They couldn't even comprehend what had happened. This was something that they couldn't understand. You were acting like Baymax, but less... life-like. You were beginning to act more and more motionless and blank. Like you were ripped out of your own emotions.

It was like you were back to your old self. But in this case, it was much worse.

The others didn't exactly mind it at first, but because of a certain shortcake, everyone had slowly come to realize what was currently at hand.

Hiro couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that something was very off with you at your previous encounter. He knew that he had gotten off the wrong foot when meeting you, but he had worked so hard to get on the right track and make you smile, and finally, when he had seen you happy, his hardwork had suddenly been crushed by something that he didn't know happened behind his back.

The gang tried everything in their power to make you smile again or do something to at least make you acknowledge them like before. To go back to the old days before the "visit" occured.

But with all the ruckus in the city and their duties as the heros of the town, the team was forced to patrol daily each night and were exhausted to the bone.

They had to balance their time as crime fighters as well as being college students with their own personal problems. They had a whole lot on their shoulders, and they were trying their best to keep up with each one.

"Why did midterms have to exist?" Hiro groaned, his head plopped on the table as they all shared lunch in the cafeteria.

Parts of his untamed hair were sprawled across the table, and had almost dipped on Wasabi's sauce for his food. He made a little face and slowly pushed the young Hamada's head to make him sit down properly.

"I wouldn't complain much, but since we all have our plates full, I could say the same.." Honey Lemon sighed, taking a bite out of her food.

"Does (Y/n) keep punching you?" Tadashi looked at his little brother, with a little smile on his lips as he stared with pity in his eyes. He heard the young boy sigh more loudly than earlier, which answered his question.

"Why is it always me though? And why does she have such fast reflexes?! They hurt a lot you know!"

"You're always the one who peeks inside her lab." Gogo stated in a as-a-mattef-of-a-fact tone, chewing on her burger. "Especially when her random gitz go nuts."
