"I'll miss you, you know I'll miss you," her voice is quiet and comes through the phone.
I'm silent for a few moments before I reply shakily, "I don't want to go..."
"Why not?"
"Because you're not going, I don't want to go without you."
Silence. "I guess I don't want you to go either," she says finally, quietly.
I close my eyes. "I'm so scared."
"Scared?"
"Scared that you'll move on and not want to be my friend anymore because I'm not here anymore." She doesn't reply for a while and my heart starts to speed and I start to get even more scared.
"I won't, you are my number one," she whispers. "Because you're you, you're amazing, you're strong, you can do anything."
I barely have time to register what she's saying before more words are spilling from my lips. "But you won't be there... I don't know what to do without you. I want you to come."
"I want to come too," she replies. "I want to be next to you forever."
I catch my breath.
"When you're happy, when you're sad, through everything."
I wish I could soak up her words forever.
"You're perfect."
My breathing stops for a second as my brain goes into a break down. "Please," I laugh quietly, "you are the perfect one." More silence. "I'm going to miss you so much."
"What will life be like without you?" she wonders aloud. "I really wish I didn't have to find out."
And my heart is full of love and happiness- I feel full.I'll miss you xoxo
