*Adelaide*
I layed in bed. I could hear the clanging and the banging of the workers below us. It has been four hours since king Uther made the announcment of my engagment with Prince Alexander. We are getting married in a fort night, so I have fourteen days to get a wedding dress and getting to know Prince Alexander. He doesn't seem so bad, but we will see.
"Merlin!" I heard Arthur shout from next door. I couldn't hear what was being said but I then heard Merlin walking down the hall, his footsteps were echoing just like the noise from beneath.
I finally got some sleep once the noise stopped.
I woke up the next morning and got dressed.

I went to the great hall where I will be dining with Arthur, Morgana, Prince Alexander and King Uther. The guards opened the door and I walked in.
"Ah, Adelaide. Thank you for joining us." The King said smiling.
"Sorry, your majesty. I over slept because of all that commotion last night." I said and I instantly saw Prince Alexander looking confused.
"Don't you have handmaiden or ladies in waiting?" Prince Alexander asked me.
"No, I don't like people doing things for me that I can do by myself, Prince Alexander." I said sitting down next to Morgana. I saw Alexander smiling slightly, before he went back to eating.
"Adelaide, why don't you show Prince Alexander around town. Arthur was meant to do it but I think he has other priorities."Morgana said and I could see that she had a little glint in her eyes meaning she is up to something.
"I think that is a good idea." Uther said.
"I can do it, that is if the prince wants me to." I said smiling at Alexander.
"I would be honoured." He said smiling.
