Adelaide and Gwen made their way towards the deepest parts of the castle. The way they could easily sneak out without anyone seeing them. They were just past the gate when they heard footsteps approaching. They hid behind a wall, they heard the footsteps pass but then Gwen walked out from behind the wall, and tarted walking, Adelaide looked towards the gate and saw a torch still burning. She quickly made her way towards Gwen.
"You two there. Show yourselves." Percival's voice came from behind them making them both stop. Adelaide was the first to turn around.
"Your Highness? Gwen?" Percival asked when he saw the two of them.
"Are you two all right? Is something wrong?" Percival asked, wondering why the two of them were out this late.
"No, No, nothing is wrong. All is well." Adelaide smiled at Percival.
"It is dangerous to be out at such an hour." Percival said.
"I am grateful you're so scrupulous in your duties." Adelaide said still smiling at Percival.
"It's not where I thought to have found you two, Your Highness, Gwen." Percival said looking at Adelaide and Gwen.
"One doesn't always wish to be your highness Percival." Adelaide said.
"I miss the old town and the Queen, sometimes need a breather from the castle, so she comes on these walks with me." Gwen said
"Is that wise?" Percival asked Gwen, he was worried for their safety, especially this late at night.
"Well, people only see a Queen when they expect to." Adelaide said to Percival.
"All the same." Percival said not sounding convinced at all.
"It reminds me of Elyan." Gwen spoke up, which made Percival look at her with sympathy.
"She needs that sometimes." Adelaide said and Gwen nodded in agreement.
"Of course." Percival said nodding, "I understand." He looked between Adelaide and Gwen.
"We are not sure Arthur would." Adelaide said to Percival.
"I won't mention it." Percival said and Adelaide gave him a sweet smile.
"Thank you." They turned and left.
In the Forest
Adelaide and Gwen walked towards Morgana, who stood in the forest waiting for them.
"You two are late." Morgana said.
"We're sorry." Adelaide said.
"Was there trouble?" Morgana asked.
"Nothing I couldn't handle." Adelaide said staring at Morgana.
"Did you get what I asked for?" Morgana asked Adelaide and Gwen.
