*The anniversary of Arthur's coronation and Uther's death*

Adelaide sat at the table, watching all the knights laugh. Mordred sat next to Elyan. Adelaide looked to her side and saw Arthur with a solemn look on his face.
"I'm going to see my father." Arthur whispered into Adelaide's ear. She nodded. Arthur kissed her cheek. He stood up and walked out, touching Adelaide's shoulder as he walked passed her.

Adelaide smiled sadly at Arthur who walked out.

The next morning Adelaide woke up. She moved her hand to Arthur's side of the bed but he wasn't there. She sat up, looking around the room she saw him sitting at their table.

She stood up, pulling on her gown she walked to him. He was staring at the horn an old woman gave him. She told him it had the power to summon the dead.

"Arthur. If you want to see your father again, it is all right. Just take Merlin with you please." Adelaide said kissing his cheek and walking to her closet. She grabbed a gown and put it on behind her screen.

She could hear Arthur telling Merlin to get the horses set up and that they were leaving

She could hear Arthur telling Merlin to get the horses set up and that they were leaving.

A day later they came back.

Adelaide was dressed in a black gown,

She sat at the round table watching and listening as Sir Leon explained what the patrols did, when suddenly the doors to the Great Hall opened by themselves

She sat at the round table watching and listening as Sir Leon explained what the patrols did, when suddenly the doors to the Great Hall opened by themselves. Everyone glanced up at the doors, Sir Leon decided to ignore it and continued to talk. As he continued the chandelier fell from the ceiling onto the round table.

Later that night Adelaide got the news that Percival got hurt while changing out of his armour.

The next night Adelaide and Gwen were walking towards the kitchen. Adelaide came to a stop when she felt someone watching them.
"What's wrong?" Gwen questioned
"It felt like someone was watching us." Adelaide said. She shook her head and the continued to walk.

The torches on the walls flames got higher as if a wind blew over them, but all the windows near them were closed. They turned to looked behind them when they both felt someone watching them, but when they turned there was no one there.

Adelaide turned to Gwen who lifted her shoulders in a way of saying she doesn't know what to do. They decided to continue waking.

The noise of a door closing made them stop in their tracks.
"Is someone there?" Adelaide questioned as she and Gwen turned around but there was no one behind them. No voice came answered. They continued walking.

A window opened by itself and Gwen walked to shut it. They started to walk again, ignoring what has been happening. Just as they were a few steps away the same window opened again. They turned and saw a door was opening and closing but there was no one there. They started to back up wanting to get away from what was happening.

All the windows began to do the same as the door. Opening and closing.
Gwen and Adelaide started to run but at the end of the hall. They came to a stop when the candles went out and the noise of the door and windows stopped.

They turned and stared down the dark hall. There was no one there. They turned to walk away when Gwen was knock unconscious and Adelaide was tripped, she felt something grab her arms and started to pull her down the hall. She screamed.

Her one foot caught on a side of a wall, and the feeling of something holding her arms disappeared. She stood up, her back against the wall as she started to make her way towards Gwen.

Just as she stared to run towards Gwen a candle holder flew towards her and hit her on her head. She stood up and made a run for it when all the shields that were in the walls flew towards her. A spear flew towards her just as she closed the pantry doors.

She backed away from the door. She just hoped that Gwen was all right.

One of the racks fell over trapping her as all the things in the pantry started flying around. She covered her head hoping it would protect her. It was no use, something slammed into the back of her head. She was knocked unconscious.

As Adelaide laid on the ground a fire started around her.

Merlin walked down the hall towards the pantry. He looked confused with all the shields and candles laying on the ground. He spotted Gwen on the ground, he ran towards her. She wasn't armed in a way that she can't heal. Luckily.

Merlin glanced up and saw smoke rising from a room. He opened the door and saw Adelaide laying on the ground, with a fire surrounding her.

He entered the room. He picked Adelaide up, he took her to Gauis and then went to fetch Gwen.

"Will she be all right?" Arthur asked Gauis as he glanced down at Adelaide who was on Merlin's bed. Gwen was downstairs on Gauis' bed.

"She will be fine, the smoke entered her lungs but with time she will be fine." Gauis said.

Arthur looked at Adelaide and then turned to Gauis.
"Gauis, what do you know about ghosts?" Arthur asked and Gauis looked up at Arthur in  surprise.
