My hair was tied back, since I would be riding my horse and my hair being in my face would not be easy. I was going with Morgana to visit her father's grave and Gwen is coming with us. I walked down to the court yard and saw Alexander waiting for me. He helped me onto my horse and fixed my cloak.
"Come back in one piece please." Alexander said.
"I will, I promise. When your mother get here, tell her I can't wait to meet her." I said smiling at him.
"I will." Alexander said and he kissed my hand before we began to ride out of Camelot.
Unfortunately I would not be in Camelot to greet Alexander's mother, who would be arriving today.
"You two are really quiet." Morgana noted, she was in between Gwen and I.
"I have a lot on my mind." Was Gwen's replay.
"What about you, Adelaide?" Morgana asked me.
"A little worried about meeting Alexander's Mother and the wedding that is next week." I said glancing at Morgana.
"How far is your dress?" Morgana asked
"It is almost done, I went for a fitting yesterday to see if it fit right, the was only small things that needed to be done." I said smiling.
Before Morgana could say anything bandit came running from the trees. A knight shouted for the three of us to follow him but then he got shot with an arrow. We tried to get away, but bandits pulled us from our horses. We made a run for it up a hill when someone stepped in front of us. He uncovered half his face.
"I warn you I am the ward of Uther Pendragon and if he finds out something happened to us, he will have your heads." Morgana threatened the man.
"Oh no harm will come to you of the Lady Adelaide." He smiled showing his yellow teeth, before we got tied up and each of us was put on a horse.
