"Delsin! What the hell happened?!" The cop shouted to my pursuer whilst holding me in an iron grip. Slowly, the man from before, or rather Delsin (it didn't take rocket science for me to put two and two together), made his way over to us. The closer he got, the more I struggled but it was no use. I knew that there was no way out but even so, I couldn't just give up. Even when Delsin finally reached where the cop and I were at, I continued to thrash about like a mad woman.
"She," Delsin pointed an accusing finger in my direction, "little miss runaway over here decided to play a round of hacky-sack with my balls!" He shot a vengeful glare my way.

"She what?" The cop, Reggie, questioned his companion with a confused expression.
"She kicked me in the fucking balls!" Delsin angrily repeated.
"I had no choice! He was going to rape me!" I retorted, still squirming in the tight hold.
Reggie gave Delsin an incredulous look. "Damn it, Delsin! What the hell did you do?!" He half-questioned, half-shouted.
"Whoa! Look Reg, I didn't do a thing! One minute I'm busting the girl out of the D.U.P. and the-""You were going to attack me!" I interrupted. "You had me pinned against a wall, in an abandoned alley and were looking me over like a piece of meat!"

Reggie gave his brother a menacing glare. "Hey Reg, just calm down brother." Delsin said as he took a precautious step backwards. Reggie responded by taking a threatening step forward. "Don't you 'brother' me Delsin. You better tell me just what the hell it was you did to her right now or I swear to god-"
Delsin raised his hands defensively as he spoke. "Easy, easy! Just calm your ass down, alright! I'll admit that I did check her out a little Reg....a little! But I wasn't going to rape her or anything!"
"Then just what the hell were you doing?" I snapped back. Suddenly a thought struck me and my eyes grew wide. "Y-You're one of Augustine's spies aren't you?! I-I won't g-go back! You can't make me, you...YOU D.U.P BASTARD!" I lunged forward, now fueled by both rage and dread.

Now both of the men were confused. NEVER before had Delsin been accused of working with the D.U.P. Well, at least not since he met Fetch that is. But just the fact that this girl didn't even recognize him had thrown him off guard. I mean, not to add to his ego or anything, but practically the entire city of Seattle knew him as the bio-terrorist.
Delsin quickly regained his composure while his older brother still struggled to keep his hold on me.
"Lady, listen to me! I am NOT with the D.U.P."
"Liar! How else would you have known that I was a conduit?!" I shouted just inches away from clawing Delsin's eyes out.
"B-Because of his....abilities! Delsin's a conduit! Just like you!" Reggie barley managed to get his words out. I may have been small but even iron bars probably couldn't hold me back at this point.

Finally, I escaped from Reggie's grip and stumbled forward. Because of my little "claw-his-eyes-out-and-beat-the-ever-living-shit-out-of-him" plan, I had managed to drag all three of us back behind a building that was completely deserted.

Bending over slightly with my hands on my knees, I tried to regain my breath and maybe cool down a little. There was a few moments of silence as I processed this new information.
"C-Conduit?" I panted, looking up at Delsin who was still a bit uneasy. "Not D.U.P.?"
He gave a sly smile as he shook his head 'no'. I looked down at the ground, still not fully comprehending the situation. Though I couldn't see him, I could hear Reggie panting as well. He was probably on the ground, exhausted from that little "scene" I made just moments ago.

"Damn, Delsin." Reggie breathed. "Can't you ever pick an easy one? You know, maybe one that's not going to try and kill you?" I couldn't help but let out a small shaky laugh. After all, I DID just practically rip his arms off in an attempt to kill his brother.

Delsin's grin grew into a smirk as he said, "You know me, Reg. I like 'em feisty," and gave me a quick wink. By now, I was able to compose myself albeit barely. "So, wait. If you're not with the D.U.P. then what was with all of that before." I wildly gestured behind me. "You know, with the chasing and the alleyway."

"Alleyway? Oh THAT! Yeah, I was just um, trying to get some of your powers." Delsin replied as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, smirk still present on his face.

"You tried to get some of my powers?" I asked skeptically. "Why would you try to-....oh wait! You're that guy! The one they call, um....what was it again? Um, oh yeah! Banner Man!"

Delsin's grin immediately vanished at mention of the ridiculous name that he had been given. For a moment he just mumbled to himself, something about killing some guy or another. He took a step closer to me, seeing as I wasn't in attack-mode anymore.
"Yeah, I'm the bio-terrorist that they've been talkin' about," he said, completely disregarding the title of Banner-man with a sigh. A second later he looked right back up and straight into my eyes. His hand was now outstretched toward me.
"The name's Delsin Rowe. Graffiti artist, badass, and of course, conduit." He then gestured behind me to a still recovering officer. "That over there is my big bro, Reggie. He's mostly a kill-joy...oh, and a cop but those are both pretty much the same thing." Reggie shot Delsin a quick glare before giving me a small nod in response. In return I gave him an apologetic smile and a quiet hello. Now that I knew that I wasn't about to be captured or raped, I had quickly reverted back to my usual quiet, shy self.
I turned back to Delsin whose hand was still eagerly stretched out. A small smile graced my features. It was completely obvious that he wasn't trying to be formal. No, I knew that he was still bent on getting my powers. My smile only grew even more at what he didn't know.
"I'm Isabella Dearing, and it's a pleasure to meet you." When I placed my hand in his, it took everything I had to not burst out laughing. Although he was trying his best to hide it, the expression on Delsin's face was absolutely priceless.
"Oh, and Delsin. There's something you should know."
"Hm?" He hummed in response, gazed still fixed on our hands as if he were trying to answer the ultimate question.
"My powers....yeah....they're non-transferable."

Finally, I couldn't hold it in any longer and I just busted out laughing. Man, I wish I had a camera right then. Reggie looked completely befuddled but that was nothing compared to Delsin. He held an expression that was a cross between "da faq you laughing at" and "what the hell is going on."
I guess I was wrong. This day was just getting started.
