Delsin's P.O.V.

'Oh, shit!' I screamed in my head. 'The woman's gone fucking bat-shit crazy!'

Reggie had told me about how I would go all "weird" after draining a core relay, but this! This was a whole new level of....God, I don't even know! I mean, yeah. I get an adrenaline rush from the core relays but Isabella seemed like she was on a whole new kind of rush.

"Bella? The fuck do you think you're doing, woman?! You told me that you weren't gonna do this revenge shit!"

"Hm." Isabella hummed before giving me a mischievous look. "No, I said that I wasn't going to hurt you. I never said anything about not getting you back."

'What. The. Shit. I am sooo fucking confused right now!' For the first time ever, I can't think of a single smart ass remark to make. All I can focus on is how intimidating Isabella is right now. It just so......so......hot. 'Why in the hell am I turned on by this?!'

With my own thoughts so jumbled up, the only response I could make was a confused, "Huh?"

Ever so slightly, Isabella tilted her head to the side as she spoke in a teasing voice. "You see Delsin, there are two types of revenge. There's physical." Just at that moment she stood closer to me, putting her hands on my shoulder only to drag them ever so slightly down my chest. Out of impulse, I reached out to her but before I even made contact with her soft, light skin, two large shards of ice shot out of the ground and wrapped around my wrists.

"-and then there's physiological." Slowly, she began to lean in as if to kiss me. Somewhere, an unknown urge had ignited deep inside of me, making my blood rush the closer she got. And let's just say, that blood was not rushing to my head.

Now she was so close that I could feel the warmth radiating off of her skin. What I wouldn't do to rip these damn restraints off here and now. However, just before our lips could touch, Isabella pulled away with a smirk.

"Hm." She hummed, obviously pleased with her results. By now I am so close to losing it that all I can respond with is a low growl. 'So, she's going to play THAT game, is she? Well, two can play at that.'

Throwing on my usual smirk I look into her eyes. "Oh, I see what you're doing Bella." I say as casually as I can. Meanwhile, Isabella just looks at me like she couldn't care less.

"Oh? I have no idea what you're talking about banner-man."

'Oh, no! She SO did not go there!'

"Don't act all innocent with me." I respond while trying to hide my intense hatred for that stupid-ass name. "You do NOT wanna play this game with me."

"And why's that?"

Leaning forward so that our faces are merely inches apart, I seductively whisper, "Cause I never lose."

"Is that so?" She responded without even moving an inch. Damn, she's good.

'Well, let's just see how good she is after all of this adrenaline wears off. When that happens, she'll be back to her adorable shy self and winning this thing will be a piece of cake.'

Before I can even open my mouth, I can hear my phone go off in my pocket and let out a grunt. "Seriously?!" Well, so much for the mood. "Guess we'll have to continue this another time, AGAIN."

To my surprise, Isabella doesn't respond. She doesn't even seem fazed by the interruption. Instead, she just stands there and reaches into my pocket and pulls my phone out.

"Uh...." Shit, that's it. I give up! I never thought that I'd say this but, no more sex contests until this chick calms the fuck down. Oh, and another thing. NO MORE CORE RELAYS FOR ISABELLA! At least, not while we're in public.

As I go on my mental rant I hear Bella answer my phone like nothing had happened. As she talks, I begin to use my smoke powers to melt the icy bonds. Within seconds I am free and turn to see Isabella holding my phone out for me to take.

"What, you're not gonna put it back?" I tease. She just rolls her eyes and pushes it into my hand. "That was Fetch."

"And?"

"We're about to have some company. I suggest that you take cover."

I looked at her puzzled. "Don't you mean "we"?"

Bella sent me a smirk before turning around to walk in the direction that the D.U.P. will most likely be coming from. "No. I've got a score to settle."
