A/N: I'm actually having a good day in my school for once! So I decided that I'll give you guys some angst/fluff in the next chapter because I don't want to kill everyone yet. Enjoy!

=Maria's POV=

A loud SCREEEEECH! Came from the tires of my hatchback as I forcefully tried to stop it. I slammed my foot down on the break pedal, pulling on the wheel as though it would do anything. "WATCH OUT!" I hear a voice outside of my car yell over the noise. It was too late, I hit someone.

Oh my god. oh my god, I hit someone!

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" James (Reynolds) shouts at me. "I told you to fucking stop, dumbass!" Quickly jumping out of the car, I slowly walk around to the front of the car while preparing myself for the sight of whoever I had slammed into.

I was not ready.

On the ground, a few feet away from my car, lay Alexander Hamilton. The boy I have a huge freaking crush on. "You fucking idiot!" Reynolds begins his usual violent berating, "I can't believe you're stupid enough to run someone over! I told you to stop, there were people outside YELLING!" "I-I'm sorry! I just didn't r-respond i-in time..." I plead. Before I know it, Reynolds grabs my biceps and shoves me onto the ground. "Maybe if you weren't always busy shoving your damn head between someone's thighs you you would be able to hear!"

"Hey!" I hear someone call. Peggy. "Leave her the hell alone, you creep!" She stalks up to the both of us, getting in between him and me. "What gives you the right to do that?! You don't even deserve to be her boyfriend! You're lucky someone like you could end up with Maria, so at least treat her right!" This is so sweet. Reynolds never really abuses me in public, but every time he does Peggy stands up for me. She's too nice. I swear, one day she's gonna get into a fight she can't win just to protect her friends.

"And what would you know about treating someone right? Your sisters don't even want you, so there has to be a reason why." Is it sad that this kind of talk isn't something new to me? I start getting up slowly. He's so rude to everyone, and half of the time he doesn't even have a reason to be. Seeing Peggy's face flash red with anger, I put my hand on her shoulder to stop her from doing anything too rash. She has such a short temper sometimes. She seems to flinch away from me when I touch her shoulder. I don't know why she does, but she still stops herself "It's not even worth it, Pegs. We have more important things to worry about."

Her eyes go wide in remembrance. She really cares about me that much huh? I look back behind us to see everyone else helping Alex up from the ground with difficulty, and Mr. Washington calling for an ambulance. I rush up to Alexander once they've sat him on the curb. "Oh my god! I'm so, sosososo sorry!" He just looks up at me, heaving slightly, before looking back down to the ground. "C-Can... can you talk?"

He begins to croak weakly, trying to force something out. "I-I-," that's all he could get out before he starts coughing violently. A few tears trickle down his face as he pushes his next sentence out, "I-It j-j-just hurts-s. I th-th-think it's brok-ken." He sounds horrible. I look down at his left arm. On his hoodie, I could see a crimson splotch of blood seeping through the green fabric of his sleeve. But I could also see a large, abnormal bump. His arm really is broken. I glance up at everyone else, briefly catching his own eye before rolling the fabric back gently. He hissed harshly as my fingers accidentally brush an open scrape.

What I saw underneath was something I had only seen once or twice my self. The large bump in his sleeve was the bone of his arm sticking out of it's normal place. It looked kind of like a staircase; the bone sticking out was the  step, and his hand that was angled down slightly was its edge. The blood was still coming. He reached up with his other hand to scratch one of the scrapes on his face, but Eliza pulled it away gently. "Leave them alone, Alexander; you'll only make them worse."

Finally, after minutes of silence other than John freaking out and Angelica gagging, we could hear the ambulance's loud sirens approaching the lot. "Finally!" Mr. Washington speaks up. As soon as he walks towards us to help Alex up, Alexander pulls his sleeve back over his arm. The flashing lights that I know all too well draw close enough for the vehicle to stop, and a few people rush over to Mr. Washington. He tells them about what happened as a few other people hop out of the ambulance to come help.

They're directed towards our group, before making us let him go. They take Alex by the arms and help him limp into the back of the ambulance, almost shutting the doors before they call, "Is there any family here that would like to stay in the back with us?" I see John about to yell and sprint over to the ambulance before shutting his mouth. He looks over at Mr. Washington hopefully before receiving a quick nod of approval. "I will! I'm coming with him!" He shouts, running over to the back of the ambulance. "Are you family?" A woman asks, stopping him before he can get in. "I'm-" he hesitates for a moment, "I-I'm his boyfriend." After a moment the woman giggles softly and nods, stepping to the side and letting him enter the ambulance.

I feel my face heat up with embarrassment. I'd been hitting on him this whole time, and he had a boyfriend?! The redness spread over my cheeks gets deeper. Of course someone like him was already taken. I mean, how could he not have been; he's all I hear the other girls talk about during science club. Heck, even the guys drool over him! Not as much as they drool over Lafayette and Thomas though, cause DAMN they look good. But, I guess I'll never have the man of my dreams will I?

"Maria!" Someone frantically yells, waving their hand in front of my face. Peggy. "Hey?" I ask, looking up at her. "Oh thank goodness! I thought you were paralyzed or something." I giggle at that. "I guess it kind of seemed that way, didn't it?" She stays silent for a moment, just looking at me before she speaks up again, "Are you okay, Mar?" "Y-Yeah. I'm fine."

"Do you still wanna have movie night?"
"What?"

"It's Friday! Look, I know we've been through a lot today, and I know that you can't take much more of the emotional business with James, so maybe we can just go home and relax. We'll visit Alexander tomorrow, okay?"
"Yeah, I know it'll eat me up if I don't visit him." "Okay, I'll go tell everyone else that we're heading to yours." As Peggy walks over to her friends, I look over to see that the ambulance and Reynolds were gone. Along with my car. Great. "Ready to go?" She asks, making her way over to a black limousine.

I Forgot she was rich. "Yeah, but James kinda took my car." "You can just ride with me! My sisters are heading to the hospital with Mr. Washington, so we don't have to worry about them." The chauffeur opens the door for us, and we both climb into the back. I also forgot how nice it is to relax. She pulls out her phone, dials a number, and lets it ring a few times. "Hey dad?" She greets when her father, Philip Schuyler, picks up the phone. "I'll be back on Sunday... With Maria.... Yeah, Alexander got hit, we're gonna see him at the hospital tomorrow... They're riding to the hospital... Mr. Washington..." I sit there and just think while she fills her dad in. Her face lights up when her father says something over the phone.

"D-Dad!" She yells flusteredly. "Yeah... Yeah okay... Bye! Love you pa!" I sigh tiredly, and Peggy instinctively wraps her arm around my back. "It's okay, Mar. Just forget about it and relax for tonight. I'm sure Alex'll forgive you." I lean into her, letting her warmth soothe me.

"Thanks Peggy." I never realized how much she's really there for me. I can count on her, no matter what...

This will be the one fic where someone gets hit and they don't wake up dramatically the next day. It's too typical, I had to change it up. Next chappy, we'll have some of Maria questioning literally everything! Sorry this took so long, writer's block is literally stabbing me in the brain. See ya later luvs!
