"WHAT?!" Lafayette shrieks, basically deafening poor Hercules. "Ah! Why?" Hercules mutters while holding his ear, which is ringing slightly from the intensity of the scream. "Laf, can you not do that? We're in a hospital!" Angelica hisses, surprised at the sudden outburst as well. Lafayette's eyes were blown wide open, as if he was scared beyond belief. He looked as though he was about to cry, but his almond orbs didn't water at all. "O-Oh, I-I -j-je suis s-désolé, je n'ai pas - can't - je ne - je ne peux pas - Oh mon Dieu - j-je ne peux p-pas!"

In a panic, Lafayette had begun sputtering and weaving between English and his original language. He wasn't thinking properly, almost as though he was short circuiting, and just couldn't seem to get the words out. It's not very often that Lafayette really loses his head, but he couldn't hold a steady train of thought. "Laf? Laf what's wrong?" Hercules asks worriedly. "N-Non! C-C'est impossible. Il n-ne peut pas." Hercules puts his hands on Lafayette's shoulders, hoping to calm him down. "Laf, English please."

"J-Je - I'm sorry. I just..." Lafayette sighed. He didn't know what to do about this, he never even imagined something like this affecting him. It just didn't seem plausible, but now that it was really happening he didn't know what to do. He didn't even know why Thomas had been sent to jail. He did know that he had a bit of a history with drugs and sleeping around, but that was all he ever heard about him. "...I just never thought this would - could - happen." He heard Hercules sigh, disappointed about how shielded Lafayette had been from this whole thing.

It was sad, really. "Laf, you knew it was coming. He couldn't stay out of trouble forever, especially not after all of that." Lafayette knew he was right, but he couldn't believe it. He refused to. "No, no way." He stood up abruptly, making his way to the door of the room and resting his hand on the handle for a moment. He was doing his best to stay calm. "Adieu." He said, still managing to keep his composure until he made it outside. Then, he broke into a sprint, running into the nearest bathroom. He was heaving by the time he got there, and not from all of the running. He threw up into the nearest toilet.

This was literally making him sick. After he finished he sat up, just sitting still on the tiles of the restroom by himself. He leaned against the rigid cold of the stall's wall, not really caring about how his legs burned under him. He just tried to calm himself down, this only resulting in him heaving once more. Leaning over the toilet bowl, he prepared himself for the disgusting sting in his throat again, yet nothing came up. So he sat there, dry heaving until his abs ached and his back cried out in pain. He hated it, all of it, but he still refused to believe. He didn't know why he was sick either; he'd never really been this stressed before.

He sat back up again, feeling his throat and thighs ache. His head hurt a bit too. Maybe gargling some water, calming down, and then sorting things out would be a good idea, he decided. There really was no use just sitting there in disbelief when he could be solving his problems instead. So he did as he thought, flushing the toilet and hoping that this brewing headache would die down before it got too bad. Once he had calmed himself down enough, he looked into the mirror. He didn't want anyone to see him this way, he couldn't. His mascara was running a little bit, and the eyeliner got slightly messed up, but nothing too bad. It's a good thing that he doesn't wear lipstick.
