Happy Mother's Day to any mothers out there!!!

Chapter Twenty: Requirement
***Embry's POV***

"Fred! George!" Ron yelled as the twins hurried out of the common room and up the stairs to the boy's dorm. I had been sitting with Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the common room while they were talking about a dream that Harry has been having while I was doing some Charms homework. The twins had came down and handed out pastries to each of us. Ron being Ron he'd been the first to dig into the sweets. Before he could start chewing the pastry had turned into a small bird, causing everyone to laugh at Ron's reaction.

"One of these days they'll grow bored of you and find a new target," I tried to reassure Ron as he spit more feathers out but I knew that my words weren't true. It was highly unlikely for Fred and George to ever ease up on their brother.

"Hey Lu," I looked behind the couch I was seated on with Hermione to see one of Angelina's friends, Alicia. "Cedric's waiting for you outside. He told me to have you grab your bag."

"Accio bag." I flicked my wrist and a moment later my bag came down the dorm stairs and into my hands. I said goodbye to the others before hurrying out the portrait door to see Cedric waiting there, looking up at the ceiling. At the sound of the portrait door closing behind me he looked over and smiled my favorite crooked smile of his.

"I was told you were waiting for me?" I walked over to him and he gave me a short peck on the cheek.

"I wanted to show you something." He grabbed my hand and led me through the corridors and up a flight of stairs. I didn't question him as he led me with twists and turns but when we came to a stop it was in front of a plain wall.

"Cedric..." I trailed off, not knowing what to say at the sight of the plain wall.

"Just give it a second." He assured me. We just stood there for a few minutes and nothing happened. Just as I opened my mouth to say something it happened. The bricks of the wall started to change slowly and where there used to be an empty wall was a door. Cedric smiled at my shocked expression as he opened the door and pulled me into the room. The room was beautiful with a large couch, a blazing fireplace, a table stocked with sweets, and an open doorway that I could see led to a large bathroom.

"I've never seen this room before," I whispered as he led me deeper into the room and we sat on the couch.

"This is the Room of Requirement, it only reveals itself when someone truly needs it and takes shape of whatever type of room they're in need of." He explained. "Almost no one knows of it, I thought it'd be a nice place to go so we could be alone. Better than the bathroom at least."

"I don't know, I like the bathroom." I tapped my chin thoughtfully which only caused him to laugh. I went to say something else but before I could his lips were on mine. His lips were soft and seemed to be a perfect fit with mine as I kissed back. Before long his tongue was tracing my lips asking for entrance, which I gladly granted him. I found myself on my back with him hovering over me as his lips trailed down my neck. His lips only left my skin as he pulled off his shirt and he then went to do the same with mine but I pulled back.

"Are you okay?" He looked over me worryingly as if he'd hurt me.

"I'm sorry," I apologized as I sat up and ran a hand though my hair while he watched me carefully. "It's not you..."

"What is it?" His eyes were soft.

"Nothing," I lied.

"You're lying," he called me out as he out a finger under my chin and made me look at him. "You can tell me, what is it?"

"At the Ball, what you saw...it wasn't me." I closed my eyes to avoid his gaze. "You said I was perfect and that's the last thing I am."

"Hey," I could hear the frown in his voice. "Don't say that."

"It's true though," I felt him wipe away my falling tears. "At the Ball...that wasn't the real me. That's not what I look like."

"It doesn't matter what you look like Embry," his fingers brushed hair from my face but I still kept my eyes closed. "I don't love you for what you look like, I love you for who you are. You are perfect though. I fell in love with a smart girl who still sees the good in those around even though she's been given no reason to. You still fight even though you've been beaten down so many times before. You're perfect because you're you and you don't let people change you. To me you're the most beautiful girl that I've ever met, nothing will ever change that."

"I love you," I opened my eyes and pressed my lips against his gently. His hands went to my shirt again and I tensed but I didn't push him away. The shirt was lifted over my head and I closed my eyes again as his lips left mine, I knew he was looking over the scars that littered my body. I felt his fingers tracing some of the worser ones that were on my stomach. What surprised me though was when I felt his lips kissing a few of my scars and I opened my eyes to see him kissing them one by one.

"Still beautiful," he whispered as his lips met mine again.
