Getting stood up

Your boy friend asked you on a date and you are so excited... but what do you do when he doesn't show up?

Pein
You were sitting in a restaurant by yourself... You were wearing a long (f/c) dress which you looked beautiful in but there was no one to impress. Your boyfriend had been so excited he was taking you on a date but he didn't even come. You had been sitting there for an hour and a half when the waiter came to your table. "I'm sorry miss but we need this table", he says. You sigh and nod. "Thank you for letting me wait", you say giving him a sad smile. The guy gave you a sympathetic look as you walked out of the restaurant.

You didn't want to go home, you didn't feel like it. So instead you went to your favorite spot, the field. I looked so beautiful at night, the way the moon light reflected off the flowers. The grass swayed in the gentle breeze and the trees stood tall around it as if giving it protection. It felt safe. You walked out into the middle of it and collapsed to your knees, starting to cry. This wasn't something you did often, you hated crying. You were usually so emotionless but inside you were fragile... You sat there for ten minutes crying non stop until you heard footsteps. You didn't look up at the person, you didn't want them to see you in this state. The person crouched beside you and gently rubbed your back. You looked up only to be met with the striking purple eyes of Pein. "Are you Ok?", he asks. You wipe away your tears and shake you head, bringing your knees to your chest and hugging them. "What happened?". You sigh. "I was supposed to be on a date but he didn't even show up", you whisper, letting my tears slide down your cheeks. "So that's why you dressed so pretty", he whispered. You giggled and then hugged him. "You can always make me feel better". Pein would never let you know that he had a blush.

Konan
Your boyfriend asked you to meet him in the park for a date so you went there. He asked you to come at 3pm and now it was 6pm. He still hadn't shown up, you sigh and begin walking away. You wore a cute (F/c) dress and a bow in your hair. You dressed up just for him but he wasn't even there to see you. You felt your eyes fill with tears but you wouldn't let any spill, not in a public place. You began running, all the way to your special spot in the forest.

It only took 5 minutes since you were running and you broke down as soon as you got there. Your quiet sobs echoed throughout the entire forest. You were so happy to be alone under the moon light. While crying you heard a twig snap and your head shot up. In between two trees stood the figure of a familiar woman. She came closer and you recognized the amber eyes and blue hair. It was Konan. Her expression was full of concern. "A-are you Ok?", she asks, sitting next to you. You look down at the forest floor and shake you head. "My boyfriend asked me to meet him in the park at 3pm for a date but he never showed up, I sat there for 3 hours waiting... but he never came". Konan wrapped an arm around your shoulder and then moved closer to her. Closer then she expected. You were now curled up on her lap, snuggling against her thigh. Lucky it was dark or else you would've seen her blush.

Itachi
You patiently sat in a cafe with a rectangular container sitting on the table in front of you. A woman came up to you with a sad smile. "I'm sorry ma'am but we're closing now", she apologizes. You smile at her. "I'm sorry I've wasted your time". She bows and watches as you pick up the container and walk out of the cafe.

You held the container close to your chest and walked to the park. You wanted to see the ducks and hold the ducklings again. You walked around the lake and then sat where you did with Itachi. You were right... the ducks did come. But something about them triggered an emotion within you. Tears started to uncontrollably run down your face and plop onto the skirt of the dress you were wearing. Today you were supposed to be going on a date with your boyfriend but he didn't come. You tried to tell yourself that he just forgot or he thought it was tomorrow but no matter how you looked at it you kept thinking it was your fault. The ducklings were walking all over you, covering your dress in wet water. But you didn't care, the one you were trying to impress wasn't even there. "(Y/n)", said a familiar voice. You didn't even bother to look up, you all ready knew who it was. "Hey Itachi", you whisper. The raven haired man sat next to you, a few ducklings walked over to him. "Why are you crying?", he asks, wiping a tear from your cheek. You sigh and pick a duckling up, resting your cheek against its soft feathers. "My boyfriend asked me on a date and he didn't even show up", you whisper. Itachi moves closer and wraps an arm around you. You lean your head against his shoulder, he now notices the container in you lap. "What's that?", he asked. You smiled and opened it to reveal it was full to the top with dango. You and Itachi spent the rest of the night sitting by the lake eating dango.
