Holding hands

You were currently sitting in the pierced man's lap as he completed his day's paperwork. You think you had been sitting there for over two hours but you honestly didn't mind. Just as long as you got to spend time with him, it didn't bother you what you two did. At one point he had been writing so much that his hand cramped up and he needs to put the pen down. He hissed in pain as the muscles tensed uncomfortably. You placed your hand on his pained one and rubbing it in order to relax the pained muscles. Once they relaxed he let go of your hand and reached for his pen again only for you to take his hand and pull it towards you. You intertwined your fingers with his and looked back into his striking purple eyes. "Take a little break or it'll keep tensing up like that". Even though he didn't want to stop he gave in to you and wrapped his free hand around your waist, continuing to hold your hand with his other.

Konan
It was late at night and Konan had decided that she wanted to go out into the forest like the two of you used to do. Since you had joined the Akatsuki you two hadn't gone there as much as you used to. Your reason for going there was to be alone and most of the other members already did that. Konan's main reason was to see you and since you weren't there, there was no point in going. Right now the two of you walked through the forest and stopped at your old spot, taking a seat on the rock. You noticed that Konan had her hand rested on her thigh and feeling bold you reached out and placed your hand on top of her's. She looked up at you in surprise, a bright red blush on her face. She didn't say a word but you knew she was enjoying it. You lifted her hand and slipped yours underneath, intwining your fingers. Even though your face was bright red you were pleased that you actually made an advance like that.

Itachi
In the beginning, there were 7 dango. You and Itachi both took one and ate it at a steady pace, finishing at the same time. You both put your dango sticks to the side and reached for the plate, both taking another. Now there were three left. You both finished your dango, this time a little quicker. You put your sticks to the side again and then grabbed one more. While eating the last piece you both meet eyes, seeing that there was only one left. Since both of you loved dango you both reached for it. Unfortunately, instead of grabbing the dango you grabbed Itachi's hand, you tried to let go but his grip was strong. You suddenly felt a little dizzy and blinked to see Itachi happily feasting on the last dango. "That's no fair, you can't trap me in a genjustu", you complain. He just shrugs his shoulders, not letting go of your hand. You were so busy arguing about it that you hadn't even realized.

Kisame
You walked along a fallen tree, making sure not to make any wrong steps. If you stood in any weak spots you could easily hurt yourself. Luckily for you, the tree wasn't too high off the ground. You walked back and forth along the tree, holding your arms out to stay balanced. "Hey what are you doing?", you hear someone ask. You turn your head to see Kisame raising an eyebrow at you. You shrug your shoulders as you giggle. "Nothing really, just a bit of fun". He smiles at you and offers you his hand. You happily take it and allow him to assist you along the fallen log. Once you reach the end of it you jump off and gracefully land beside him, still holding onto his hand. You felt his hand relax as he expected you to let go. But you surprised him by holding on. "Your hands are so warm, we should hold hands more often", you enthuse. He gives a nod, trying to hide the adorable blush on his face.

Sasori
The redhead had taken a break from making puppets and settled down beside you on the bed with a book. What was he reading about? It had become a habit for him but whenever you were asleep or away he would read up on how to further understand his emotions and be a good boyfriend to you. You were both on his bed but you were asleep. Reading down the page Sasori noticed a passage labeled 'Holding hands'. He hummed quietly as he read the paragraph.

Generally, a couple will hold hands to stay connected while walking or sitting together. This gesture can also be a way to assert yourself, letting anyone know that you and your partner are in a close relationship and that they are unavailable. Although, when doing so your partner may get the idea that is just wanting to provide comfort and protection, it's an easy way to let your partner know that you are there for them.
