Extended Summary

The last person Mariah expected to see at her door was the man that abandoned her and her mother all those years ago. And with the man comes all of his baggage, including his new family that she'd rather have not known ever existed.

With the man that she never thought she'd see again bombarding her life, Mariah isn't sure what to do. Her life goes on a downward spiral, starting with the return of her father, with multiple events adding on. And with a new killer on the loose, she wonders if it's too late for her to hightail it out of Riverdale, for good this time. With one bad event, comes another; a domino effect that won't stop until all of the pieces have fallen down.

The only question is, if all of her pieces manage to collapse, will the girl be able to pick them all back up? Her semi normal life is no longer what it once was. A raging riptide that wouldn't cease until there was nothing left of the girl she once was.

Her relationships will be tested, her life turned upside down, and Mariah will struggle to stay afloat.

But she should have expected it. It was Riverdale. And nothing ever stayed good in Riverdale.

Hello all, and welcome to book two of Capsize. Okay, it's been almost a year since I last touched this book. The last update that you got for it was me informing you that this book was being unpublished and I would no longer continue it. I hadn't planned on writing a book 2 in the beginning and I didn't even think that anyone would like Capsize at all. But you guys did and I tried to write a second book for y'all but it didn't work out. I had no ideas planned out and zero inspiration but I tried really hard and it didn't work out.

I didn't think that I would ever come back to this book and attempt writing it again but I just had a spark of new ideas and inspiration for this book and after much deliberation, I've decided to give it another shot. Keep in mind that it took me a while to decide if I really wanted to this and I might not complete this book. I don't like Riverdale anymore so writing this will be a little difficult for me. So please bare with me.

Updates will be hella slow so don't comment on any chapter of this book telling me to update. Because I won't update. And if you comment for me to update, I will block you, end of discussion. I am a freshman in college and I am extremely busy.
