Alex,

HOW. IS. THIS. POSSIBLE.

Okay yes that was stupid to write because there are multiple reason why that's possible but WHAT. That is such a coincidence. How am I still super mad yet super relieved?! I mean, I'm still very angry at the fact that they didn't tell me they were moving sooner, but I'm excited that you can actually meet them!! Have you? If so, do they know that we know each other? Well, kinda of know each other... Write to each other sounds better. Please let me know as soon as you can.

About me making friends. I guess I could try talking to Samuel. I think he's decent. Maybe. Hopefully. But I'll take your advice and try to talk to him. I need friends. Adults say stuff like "Oh! You don't NEED friends! Just focus on your studies for now." But no. In a way, we need at least one friend. Even a friend you haven't met in person. Like us for example.

Wish me the best of luck.
-John

I smiled gently. I'm glad John is feeling at least a tad bit better. Hopefully that Samuel guy is a friendly person. I put the letter in my bag and continued to listen to Washington's lesson.

Finally, my last class for the day, math. I rested my chin on the palm of my right hand, fidgeting with my pen with my left. Constantly clicking it. Suddenly, I hear a loud bang, and a jumped to my right to see that Eliza had dropped her books on the desk beside me.

"Oh I'm sorry!! Did I scare you?" She gasped, covering her mouth with her hands.

"Um, a little. But it's fine." I chuckled.

A cute, awkward smile formed on her face and she sat in the chair beside me.

"So we haven't talk much since we hung out." She tapped her fingers.

"Hmm, yeah. I guess I didn't realize because I'm not used to having you in my life." I smiled.

"O-oh.. I'm sorry." She had a little frown on her face.

"What? W-wait! I meant like I'm used to only having 2 friends so I'm kinda alone most of the time." I blurted. I then sigh. Saying that aloud makes me feel even more bad at how antisocial I am.

"Oh.. Well we can change that. Change that 2 into a 3 because I'll be your friend." She grinned.

"Really? People usually think I'm a loser." I looked down.

"I don't. I find you pretty cool." She rested her hand on my shoulder. I looked up to her. We gazed into each other's eyes. I gave her a smile to show her I appreciate her company.

"Thank you so much." I continued to smile at her.

"Alright students, turn your text books to page 56." Our math teacher announced.

Me and Eliza turned to face the teacher and began to flip through our text books.

-

"Alright. For homework tonight, I want you to read pages 60-70 and please complete questions 1-20 on page 74. It is due tomorrow but I will give you some class time to work on it. Thank you. Dismissed!"

I stacked my books and binder then picked it up. I secured it with both of my arms so it won't fall. Eliza walked up to my and tapped my shoulder.
