Prom's tonight. I'm taking Theo with me, of course. It's been like, a week or 2 since I've been hanging around Thomas and James. They've really taught me so many things. How to be chill, popular, cool and shit. I feel like a different person. Which isn't a bad thing.

I haven't talked to my old group of friends lately. Why would I? I got what I've ever wanted. Popularity. All thanks to Thomas and James. Mostly Thomas though. Thomas made me realize how lame my old friends are. How much of losers they are..

I'm currently walking down the hall with Thomas. Everyone looking at us. I never knew how much I love attention.

"Hey, your girl is over there." Thomas pointed at Theo. I watch her as she open her locker and put her stuff away. She's so beautiful. I walk up to her. I rest my hand on the side of the lockers.

"Hey Theo." I grin.

"Oh. Hi Aaron.." She say quietly.

"Ahem." Thomas walks up behind me.

"Hello Thomas." she groans.

"So, uh what time am I picking you up tonight?" I gaze into her eyes.

"Um, 6-7 is ok I guess." She said.

"Great. I can't wait." I looked her down and up. Thomas starts snickering. He pats my back and we walk away.

It was lunch. I was outside sitting at a bench with the gang. Well, minus Burr.

"I can't believe Burr. He is so un-loyal. He ditched us for popular-guy Jefferson. Jefferson completed brainwashed him. It's like I don't even know him anymore!" Peggy ranted.

"I know. Now he's one of the popular people." Lafayette added.

"But I guess that's what he wanted? We were just his backup until he got to the top." Herc sighed.

"You know what guys? He isn't worth our time. His karma will come sooner or later. Trust me." I say. Trying to make everyone feel better.

"I agree!" Eliza announced. Sigh, I almost forgot she was here. She was holding my arm, snuggling up against me. Her head leaned on my shoulder. I was uncomfortable. Not only because how she's laying on me but because this didn't feel right. I don't feel the spark that she feels with me. I-I feel-

"Alex, I just wanna remind you that you have to pick me up around 7ish and don't forget to wear a blue tie." Eliza said.

"Why do we have to match? I find it stupid. Can we just do our own thing. Like you wear your blue dress and I'll just wear a normal black tie?"

"No! Come on Alex. It'd be so cute." She batted her eyelashes. I groan.

"I need to go to the bathroom." I immediately get up and go in the school.

As I walk I slide my phone out of my pocket and call John.
