Herc was walking around my coffee table, while I sat on my couch watching him. He won't shut up about Laf agreeing to the date. Like I get it, he's happy that he got a date with Laf, but he doesn't need to remind me every 10 seconds. Plus, we all- uhm, I knew that Laf would agree.
"I can't believe it! I can't believe it! I can't believe it! Can you believe it?!" Herc continued to circle my table.
"Very much." I responded. Herc just skipped.
"So where are you taking Laf?" Herc immediately stopped skipping and turned to me.
"What?"
"Where do you plan on taking Lafayette for your date?" I questioned. Herc's jaw dropped.
"I didn't think about that!" He slapped his forehead, disappointed with himself.
"Oh come on! It's a DATE. How do you forget where you're gonna have it?!" I shake my head.
"Alex!! Where should I take him!?" Herc walked over to me.
"Woah there. Don't look at look me. I told you already, I'm bad at this romantic stuff." I crossed my legs.
"PLEASE."
"Heh. Fine. Take him to the zoo. That's a great place to take him." I joked. I chuckled because I remembered John telling me that's the worst place to take a date-
"That's a great idea!!"
"Wha- are you serious? You're joking..right?" I sat up properly.
"Uhm, Of course I am. 100%. I'm being super serious." Herc got up and began to put on his shoes at the door.
"I got to go Alex. Gotta get ready." He winked.
"Wait no, you're serious? Because I was only kidding-" and he left.
Oh. Did I just- nah. I'm sure it'll be fine.

The day of the date
I was freshen up. I threw on some casual clothes, but not too casual. Casual enough for the zoo but not too casual for the date. I didn't tell Laf on where I was taking him. I wanted to surprise him. I'm sure we're gonna have a blast.
-Lafayette's pov-
"So where is he taking you?" Peggy questioned.
"I have no clue. He says it's a surprise." I clapped my hands in excitement.
"Ooo, where do you think?" Peggy walked over to me.
"Well, I'm hoping to a dinner, non a picnic outside in the autumn season. Or even a stroll through the park. Maybe all three?!" I twirled.
"Dhawww." Peggy held her hands close to her cheek.
"Very exciting, oui. But what will I wear?!" Peggy dropping her hands slowly and began to think.
"Hmm.. Well, since it's a surprise it could be anything.. Do you have anything casual but not too casual for a fancy restaurant?" I walked over to my closet and searched. I look around, I'm not much of a dress-skirt person but I do wear them to special events. But is this a special event? Hm.. ah! I could wear this ankle pants with my long sleeve shoulder cut blouse.
I pull out the outfit and reveal to Peggy. Her eyes lit up in excitement.
"THAT'S PERFECT!!" She clapped her hands. I grinned.
"I'll put it on then!!" I bolted to my closest.
