Chapter 6: Chemicals

Genevieve's POV

Humiwalay muna ako kina Zafrina after naming makakuha ng mga damit at iba pa.

I reminded them to get some pads or sanitary napkins. I think they forgot what happens every month inside a girl's body.

I already checked yung mga chemicals na nakuha ni Zafrina nung nagkita kami sa main laboratory. But that's not enough. Kaya naman pupunta ako sa pharmacy dito sa loob ng mall. They most likely will have the things I need.

I already calculated the amount of time I have para sakto ang pagbalik ko sa parking. 3 minutes walking towards the pharmacy, about 15 minutes to get the things I need in there and I'll give myself an allowance of 5 minutes just in case something goes wrong, then another 3 minutes to go back to our meeting place. So I have approximately 30 minutes left. Knowing them, it's either I arrive first or Nanne will. His actions are telling me that he's a responsible guy and isn't fond of getting late.

Inorasan ko ang aking sarili hanggang sa makarating na ako sa pharmacy at saktong 3 minutes ang travel time ko.

Thankfully wala akong nakitang zombie sa loob kaya naman mas mapapadali ang paghanap ko.

Marami naman na akong nakuha. Kumuha na rin ako ng first aid kit at mga gamot na maaari naming kailanganin. Pansin kong may kulang pa ako pero bigla akong nanigas sa kinatatayuan ko at namutla when I heard some noise inside the pharmacy. Basing on the noise it created hindi siya sinasadya dahil kalat at hindi uniform ang ingay.

May kasama ako sa loob ng pharmacy.

Napalunok ako ng wala sa oras when I felt a presence behind me. Hindi ko magawang lumingon because I am terrified na baka zombie ang sumalubong saakin. Using my senses I can guess na lalaki ito dahil sa amoy niya. I don't think he's a zombie dahil di pa ako nakaka encounter ng zombie that still had their signature scent on them after being infected.

"Turn around" bigla akong nabunutan ng tinik when I heard him speak proving that my hypothesis is correct.

I turned around at sinalubong ko ang titig niya. His complexion is as white as a sugar and he looks very cute and cold at the same time. I did noticed that he was a bit small since we only have the same height. 1.74 meters to be exact.

Napansin kong naptitig siya sakin pero agad din itong nakabawi.

"Survivor huh? Anong ginagawa mo rito?" una niyang tanong.

"Oh, well I'm trying to find some chemicals and other things that we might need. You scared me for a second there" I said at inayos ko ang pagkakalagay ng salamin ko.

"Might need for what?" Curious niyang tanong.

"I'll explain later. Anyways, I see you got some useful things for yourself too. May kasama ka ba?" I asked. He's a survivor, I think it would be best if he'd come along with us. My friends wouldn't mind.

"I'm riding solo. How about you?" He asked at tinulungan ako sa paglagay ng mga chemicals.

"I'm with my friends. Gusto mo sumama ka na saamin" pag-suggest ko sakanya. He didn't answer yet.

"Basing on the chemicals you have, are you making a reverse formula?" He suddenly asked habang pinagaaralan ang mga chemicals.

Napanganga ako sa sinabi niya. He knew that just by looking at the chemicals?!

"Y-Yes! Paano mo nalaman?" I asked and I saw how he smirked.

"Well your chemicals aren't usually the most common ones to begin with. The fact that every chemical in the bag has an opposite chemical is screaming a reverse formula. I'm the president of a science club in my school and experiments are everywhere there so I have sufficient knowledge about chemicals and experiments" mahabang lintanya niya saakin kaya namangha ako.
